A couple in Florida has too much time and money on their hands, as well as a nice case of the crazies.
Nina and Edgar Otto lost their beloved pooch, Lancelot, to cancer last year.
Since they obviously have no children, they decided to have Lancelot's DNA frozen 5 years prior. Following Lancelot's death, the Ottos paid $155,000 to San Francisco biotech firm to, yes, have Lancelot cloned.
10 weeks ago, Lancelot Encore came into the world in South Korea.
The Ottos claim that he is the first single-birth, commercially-cloned puppy in the United States and that they are officially the weirdest people in the world.

The Otto family does have children. Unfortunately, they are more concerned about raising their animals than raising their family correctly. A couple of years ago their granddaughter was arrested for impersonating a cop and trying to make an arrest. That family is out of their minds. They have donated tons to local charities, including one of the exclusive private school, probably for their own benefit to get their children in.

Well, until y'all have had a dog for 11-14 years respectively..no one knows that connection and bond. If i had the cash i would gladly give it to have my beloved Chance as my eternal dog..however, we have 4 labs and rescued 2 of them.. Browns was a 'dumpster dog' and is the best, most loving dog ever..all i am saying is that if money isn't an option and you have your soulmate in your arms, enough said.. P dog, what would you do with your beloved Teddy if push came to shove and you could do this???
