Disney Stole Hannah Montana Show Concept?

A writer is suing Disney, claiming that the hit tween show Hannah Montana was actually his idea.
Richard Fronduto has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court. He alleges that he wrote a script back in the day and Disney stole his idea without any credit.
According to the suit, Fronduto claims that in 1990 he wrote a script called The Secret Life of Sindi, which later turned into The Family Business.
Supposedly, after his agent pitched the script to Disney, they liked it so much that they asked him to turn the script into a two-hour pilot.
He claims there are several similarities between his script and that of Hannah Montana. Such as the main characters both features a 13 to 14 year-old, American middle-class girl who has a "secret life" of being a famous pop star. They both have a single parent who's the pop star's manager and a best friend which knows their secret.

In addition to money, Fronduto is suing to get a "created by" line added to all future publications of Hannah Montana.
