Papa Joe Simpson Screwed Nick Lachey Out Of $500,000!

Yesterday, we mentioned how Jessica Simpson is getting sued for $10 million for reportedly not keeping up to her contractual obligations when shooting a fitness video back in 2005.
Luckily for us gossip lovers, the fitness company's owner, Alex Astilean, is speaking out about the suit!
He says in a new interview that they initially offered Jess AND hubby Nick Lachey $1 million to appear in the video. That's when Simpson's people, dadager Joe Simpson, said she'd do the entire video without Nick for $1 million.
Astilean says he never knew if Nick was even told of the offer (he definitely knows now!), but added that "We knew that Joe Simpson gets the percentage just from Jessica's work . . .We felt sorry for what we did by accepting the final offer, but we were in such a rush to come out with the video. For Joe to screw his own son in law for half a million dollars was still not enough, nor was the money from Jessica's side, because he wanted another Ferrari and was trying to get Jessica's trainer into the picture and force me to teach him the SpeedFit Routine."
And wouldn't you figure, turns out daddy Simpson was also the "agent" for Jess's trainer, Mike Alexander, and kept trying to get him in the video. Astilean says this is where the problems started - when he rejected the Alexander proposal.
So, in retaliation Simpson never gave the final approval for the video, even AFTER shooting it. And with no final approval, the video never got released, but Shady Jess and dadager still got paid.
Astilean adds, "What diabolic mind they had to shoot an exercise video for people to lose weight, but to never think about the millions of fat people who needed this video, knowing the entire time that this video would never be released. We are now in 2009 and they have dragged this out for so long they ruined the SpeedFit Company and put it in the worst financial crisis. All the assets we had vanished, we cannot afford a lawyer to litigate with them and they got me at the point where they want me to be, broke. All I was trying to do is make this country skinny and make me rich and famous."

Look, I used to like Jessica Simpson but she turned into the biggest wuss. What, people start calling her fat, so she calls in her sister, her brother-in-law, her ex trainer (on the payroll) to say "Stop it! Leave her alone, she looks great!" because she wants to do damage control, or her ego can't handle it? What the fuck, and Ashley's rebuttle was ridiculous. Yes, Ashley, she does look fat, and yes, there ARE different standard for celebrities (like singing live on a live show, but you wouldn't know about that). Gladly, this family is nearing the end of their ropes. Who care if she gets fat (which she is, her appointed family or PR team can't deny), then deal with it and shut up.

well, nick screwed jessica by taking half of all her money in their divorce! wasn't he the one saying how much in love he was with her and how she was the one? and then when they divorce he petitions (and gets) half of her entire estate. and the weight comments really need to stop. she's not that overweight.

The Simpsons are horrible, vapid people. I went to school with Jessica years & years ago and she was a nasty human being. She used to give blow jobs to boys and would have lots of anal sex because she wanted to "remain a virgin". She would also ram pieces of fried chicken up her whammy.
