Swayze's Mother Asks For Support

Patrick Swayze's mother, Patsy, is asking people to continue praying for her son and his struggle with stage IV pancreatic cancer.
Swayze, who's determined to remain optimistic and confident, may have hit a wall.
Today The Enquirer reported that Swayze has ceased treatment because there is nothing more that can be done.
This is also after hospitalization for pneumonia earlier this month.
A pal said, "His confidence had always been contagious for Lisa — but the situation is really staring them in the face now."
Stay strong Patrick! Stay strong!

I am praying for him. All the good wishes can't hurt.
I can't believe that douche Perez didn't rant about his smoking.
Everytime I think of Patrick my heart sinks…I remember hearing those words myself. "There is nothing more that we can do." DEVASTATING!!! My beloved father died of this terrible disease. I pray to the good Lord above that we find a cure for cancer; and soon!
Sadly, we all know he's on his way out.

he told barbara walters that he would not quit smoking until he's 90% at death's door. now has he finally stopped?

I hope with all my heart this isn't true and he continues doing well as he has been doing. But don't print something from The Enquirer and automatically think its true, especially something this sensitive. It could be a load of BS.
so sad. He shows though how a positive attitude gives you more time….Unfort though once a doctor stops treatment with this disease it goes rampant.

So sad! I lost my best friend to cancer 3 years ago at the age of 41! Patrick reminds me so much of her. She fought until the very end. I've been watching his new show "The Beast" and love it. Its one of his best pieces of work. One would never know how sick he was during the filming except for the fact that he looks thin. He's really terrific in it. He and Lisa will be in my prayers!

That's very sad. Hopefully a miracle will happen. Patrick Swayze has always seemed like such a good guy and devoted husband. All the best to him and those who love him.

So sad. I've always been a fan. I cannot even imagine. They certainly are handling their suffering with strength and dignity. I pray that God comforts them during what must be an appallingly difficult time.

At his advanced stage of cancer, quitting smoking isn't going to make much of a difference. I think he knows he'd be lucky to get another year, even with treatment. So if he enjoys smoking, what the hell.
Side note. If your tits are at your belly button, do not wear strapless
outfits.
Re: Amazing Grace – I can't say too much on here but its the nature of my work. His bro is a motorcycle mechanis in L.A. and Patrick loves to ride bikes and visits him regularily!! I like all his movies especially Point Break. You can't get a better guy than this, for sure!
How dare she, if that's true. Even if prayer "worked," why should someone waste any on this man; pray instead for the MILLIONS of suffering people who have no money, no hope, no options…and who also have no wife, no mother, no farm, no jets…ooh, and haven't already enjoyed 50+ years, some of which was spent indulging in habits that contribute to poor health. Pray instead for hard working physicians, Mercy Corps staff, social services personnel, tree planters, and people all over the globe trying to save habitat, children, monkeys, fish, oceans, schools, and cancer-stricken CHILDREN without medical coverage.
