   BE YOUR OWN ROLE MODEL LOSERS. It's ridiculous that we're making a big deal about what a person does in his private life. He's human, not a superhero. He's busted his ass, and reached the height of his career, so who cares when he partakes in recreational activity in his off time. He's getting paid to endorse a product, not be be a role model. He's doing Speedo a favor by endorsing their briefs. ANd speedo's smart enough to realize MP could snort coke of a hookers ass, but that won't stop the fact that the's the winningest olympian, and that there are still dumbass people in this world who will want to wear what he wears..

   man…fuck those suburban white honkies! "taking pot" wouldn't fucking inhibit phelps' performance and it definitely would not lead to "performance enhancing drugs." i'm so unexpressibly tired of people thinking that "pot" is a horrible gateway drug that will ruin your life and eventually kill people you love etc and so on! the only thing pot ever makes anyone want to do is snack, draw or doodle, stare at a wall for an hour or so, or surf the internet. for christ sake! of course he smokes pot, the fucking president smokes pot, the fucking members of congress smoke pot, you smoke pot, your parents smoked pot! if anything, the stress of suddenly being a fucking "role model" for youth and society in general would make anyone want to smoke pot. if anything it adds to his character: yeah he gets high on pot, but he still beat everyone else in the olympics, even though he used pot (at some point, irrelevant to his competitions) which is apparently considered a "performance inhibiting" drug. professional athletes (as in NBA, NFL, MLB and so on) are perpetually charged for sexual assault, rape and use performance enhancing drugs, but you always see them next season…why is phelps, who was not paid for his 'performance' and only "used pot" on the butcher's block?!
