Starbucks Value Meal Coming Soon!Filed under: Business Blitz
Hoping for a touchdown - or at least a field goal - Starbucks is running a McDonald's play! As we've mentioned before, Micky Dee's is one of the few places in these shiteous economic times that is profiting because of its cheap eats. For the price of one regular priced Starbucks coffee you could get an entire breakfast meal at McD's! Plus, the Golden Arches' coffee is pretty good these days! Well, Starbucks is apparently coming out with coffee and breakfast food combos that finally won't break your budget. Starbucks' value meal offerings will be announced later this week. Finally! Living in Seattle I can tell you there seems to be more Starbucks than people! It's payback time for Starbucks! This is what happens when greed overtakes a company. I'm sorry to say I'm not sad to see whats happening to the company, but am sorry for those loosing their jobs! They are ridiculously expensive and don't know how this "food combo" is going to make any difference. They'll still be charging outlandish prices!

a lot of you unfamiliar with the fact that starbucks alreadt has food must be from small towns. they have a large selection of breakfast sandwiches, eggs bacon etc., they're just combining the price with the coffee from now on.

I still dont like Starbucks.. their coffee taste burnt to me … ohh wait they called that deep roasted.
I don't like Mcdonalds either… mistery food and workers that are always greasy and faces full of pimples from the oil vapors from cooking the fries.
I'll stick with Pret a Mange or soup places and Panera bread.. now those are lovely chains and there is true value in them

Nurses, aids, techs, the whole field is short staffed and wide open.
For those of you young enough and undecided, this is the way to go. Great pay, health insur, paid leave, sick, and vacation (union). The hours suck, but you save money by not going out, and in the health care biz, there are never a shortage of customers.

Value meal? Are you kidding me? Nobody is forcing anybody to pay for Starbucks coffee. I go to Starbucks but it doesn't break my bank because I don't abuse it or go everyday. If you want cheaper coffee then, make your own. If you want to save money….then don't spend it. Times are getting really touch now and its something Starbucks is going to have deal with. I doubt a so called Value Meal is going to do much.

Sad, but you can totally diagnose her anorexia from the stray hairs on top of her head. BTDT and my hairdresser said she can always tell when someone is starving themselves because they start losing their hair and it breaks on top like that.

It's not exactly the subject, but could someone kindly explain to me how unemployment benefit and child allowance (if it exists) works in the States ? And what is "welfare" ?
In France, if you loose you job, we get paid 57% "net" of our monthly "gros" salary when we were working, for a maximum of 2 years. To finance this, a % of our salary is taken off by our boss who then give it to the State (it's not income tax, that's something else)
Child allowance : As soon as you have more than 1 child, you get child allowance … even if you're rich … it's the same amount for everyone. eg. I've got 3 kids, and the State gives me 350 euros a month, this goes up with the more kids you have and stops when the child is 19

never liked starbucks- their coffee tastes burnt + bitter. i call it "5 bucks" since you can't get out of there for under it!
I like Starbucks but man those McDonalds iced coffees are like crack! I get a hazelnut once at least every other week! And they're half the price of what you get at Starbucks. YUMMMMMM!!
