I work for the Walt Disney Company and there were 40 people were laid off in HR and the main base in California. 90 Disney Stores which were originally owned by TCP/Hoop Retail closed in June 2008. Anything else?

Better movies- Pixar is our main focus however we do have movies coming out every year from the vault.

Disney's been running to the bank with fist fulls of dollars for decades. Trouble is, the higher ups probably won't take the cut. The peon employees will probably bear the brunt. Oh, and stockholders.

It's because they charge so darn much for their tickets. Last January I believe they started charging over $75.00 a ticket. That is ridiculous. They can't expect to have as many people in this economy come to pay that. That is just for a 1 day 1 park ticket!!! A family of 4 would have to spend over $300.00 for each park each day and that isn't including food or hotel..etc. They think offering a free ticket on your birthday makes a difference. They need to lower their ticket prices and they'd get people in the park. I'll bet they'd be at full capacity if they lowered their prices drastically.
