   Not many in their late twenties are the same size as in their teens. All of the skinny high school people I knew were all much heavier at my reunion. Some of the heavier people had slimmed down. She still looks fabulous, IMHO.

   I love the people who keep saying she is comfortable in her skin. She is most likely sobbing herself to sleep every night at being compared to "normal, healthy women".     for those of you saying "she's not fat":

    i understand your point that the media is being too hard on her and she is thinner than most americans. however, she is overweight. she is short, probably 5'4" at the most? she is well over 120 pounds therefore she is overweight. talk to any doctor, unless you're a body builder, that is considered overweight or "fat for her height". americans in general are overweight and it's sad. people should learn to take better care of themselves.

    i understand how hollywood puts pressure on women and thats why so many celebrities and disgustingly thin. I also think that everyone is so afraid of causing girls to have eating disorders that they completely ignore the fact that being overweight is just as unhealthy. I'm not saying jessica simpson is unhealthy, but she is slightly heavy and i just think it's important for people to realize that being overweight is just as unhealthy(if not more so) than being too thin.
