Joaquin Phoenix Says He's Serious About His Music Career
Even though we're sure it's an elaborate hoax, Joaquin Phoenix is insisting that his burgeoning rap "career" is totally legit.
In an interview promoting his last film ever - Two Lovers with Gwyneth Paltrow - Phoenix said he doesn't know where the "art project" rumors originated.
He added, "Might I be ridiculous? Might my career in music be laughable? Yeah, that's possible, but that's certainly not my intention."
He then confirmed his delusions of grandeur be expressing regret over the video of his first stunning performance, saying that "It sucks that, yeah, the footage is out there as like this incredibly bad sound, and you literally can't hear what's happening. It was much better in the club, and I don't know who said that people were booing … because that was not happening."
He claims that "dudes" came up after the show to give him props.

Joqauin is trying to be cutting edge, and he could have if he executed it better, ie, his performance in those videos at the club needed to be more serious, and that stage fall was such a set-up, did you notice how cued music started to play as soon as he fell off stage and nobody seemed concerned when he did? Yah, STAGED people.
