The people that own concert venues and promote the shows, LiveNation, are likely merging with the people that sell you the tickets, Ticketmaster.

This smells like trouble - and it stinks!

      Whatever…ticket sales have been an overpriced racket for a long time. That is why I have not bought tickets from an actual seller for a long time!

      I was hoping that Live Nation would run Ticketmaster out of business.

      Again, monopoly rules and consumers lose.

      I thought that Obama was going to stop all of these companies from screwing us. Now, there will be one company that controls the majority of the ticket sales and venues thus acts that play there and prices of tickets. WTF

      That seems like a monopoly to me. Ticket prices are way too high. Yet people still keep paying them so they'll stay that way.

      Ticketmaster also has this TOTAL con job site tickets now… I was buying phish tickets for my BF, and was charged 12 times the face price… before I found out they were on livenation.. Ticketmaster should join the economy meltdown and go under!!

      We need to ban together and stop supporting ticketmaster. Ticket master stated to me they have every legal right to sell tickets that get this "Don't exist". I bought 4 and no recoup of money. BBB doesn't care either and let them not reply to my complaint when any other buisness if they did the same would have been removed from BBB.
