Christian Bale's Mom Speaks Out, Does Not Use Expletives

Christian's mama is jumping on the Bale Out bandwagon, saying that she hopes now people will understand why she and her daughter filed assault charges against the actor last year.
61-year-old Jenny Bale said that "people might now realise that that is his temper, they might understand a bit more. I wish he hadn't carried this on so long or so fiercely, it was upsetting to hear him."
She described her son as a "perfectionist" who was "clearly very angry" (no shit!) about an intense scene cut prematurely short.
She might have a point, but why did she have to go blabbing to the press about it!

Hell, why not blab it to the press? He (and the public) pretty much dismissed his mother and sister's claims last year. It took this audio for us to go oh maybe they were RIGHT. He's a douche and if I was his mom I'd have done the same. Disrespecting mom and sis just because they said a few unsavory words about the wifey is uncool.

I think it's ridiculous to pick on Christian Bale for his outburst. Yeah, he was obviously pissed… but I know a billion people who get mad when something they're invested in is interrupted. He's an ACTOR. It takes a lot of work, a lot of concentration, to get into a specific character. Whoever interrupted that scene was a flat out MORON and needed to be yelled at.

The Wrestler director Darren Aronofsky has defended Christian Bale over a taped on-set rant which was recently leaked on the Internet. The Dark Knight star can be heard launching a foul-mouthed tirade against a crewmember on the set of new movie Terminator Salvation.
But Aronofsky has backed the actor over the outburst and called the four-minute rant, which includes the use of the F-word 35 times, "reasonable".
He says, "I think he was right. I don't think he was out of line. It is a sacred time between action and cut.
"Sets are very, very high-powered places where things go awry all the time and emotions are high. People are out there working really hard and exposing themselves, especially actors, and they need to be protected.

Movie sets are high-energy and highly emotional places where you have to deal with all sorts of normally not even a tiny bit "intense" in the real world events turned into an …over amplified….over caffeinated…under slept….a lot of hurry up and waiting….people screwing around on set when you are trying to concentrate to directors and other highly paid workers who suffer from a God complex.
As much as you try to maintain your cool and stay focused…..because the numerous takes are killing you….your wardrobe or props keep having issues… some dip shit left their cell phone on and all you can hear is that same ring over and over again….Darren was 100% correct….a set is a place where it is possible for a saint to scream…."FUCK THIS I QUIT!"
