Looks like Octo-Mom is fucked!
While most fertility "miracles" receive gifts from strangers and lifetime supplies of diapers, clothing, and food from companies, it looks like the Octo-Mom backlash may get her…nothing!
Hollywood publicist David Brokaw (not Suleman's publicist) said that the negative reactions will hinder Suleman's ability to land freebies, calling the whole situation a "calamity" because it doesn't seem like "the way this is shaped, how you can say much about it in terms of something favorable."
Spokespersons for Gerber and Procter & Gamble pretty much said that Octo-Mom isn't getting anything from them.
Suleman's spokesbitch, Mike Furtney, however, said, "I don't remember the brand name, but one major disposable diaper company sent some diapers."
Riiight.
He went to say that he is confident that once Suleman tells her story, her critics will "readjust their thinking a little."

Okay… when you think about it, the freebies are not for the mother. They are for the children. If anything, she should be receiving MORE freebies because she's obviously not very intelligent and herself and her family are utterly broke. Clearly, I don't think that this woman is stable, and I'm not sure she'll be a suitable mother. BUT… should the children have to suffer for their mothers mistakes. The mother won't be eating the baby food or wearing the diapers or anything, the KIDS will, and they are the most important thing. The mother isn't receiving these gifts; the children are.
On a side note; This crazy lady needs to get her tubes tied. Also, I think she may be looking for handouts, because as broke as she is, she'll receive tons of welfare. This provides nearly free rides through college, if you've got bad teeth the government will pay for it if you say its hindering you're ability to get a job. Not to mention, out of 14 kids, It's likely you will have at least one that has a disability. This means they will receive a very large social security check from the government every month. They can also get major deals on new cars, new homes (build your own house program, usually), food stamps, and tanif (I dont really know if other states have that), WIC…. you basically live for free.

Why should she get freebies? I have 4 children and nobody gives me freebies!!! This woman had in vitro to have each of her six children before the octuplets. In vitro is extremely expensive, and usually is only covered a couple of times per lifetime by insurance. So how is she getting in vitro over and over again? Guess who's paying for it: WE ARE! This is so unbelievably ridiculous for someone to be doing this. No job, living with parent, no spouse & she decides to have multiple births! It turns my stomach to think of these poor children having her for a mom. And it is very selfish of her to do this. In this economy, nobody is doing well. We all can't sit here and feel sorry for her. She brought this on herself. We're trying to work and raise our own families without "freebies." We can't sit here and say, "Oh, how cute, this nice lady had octuplets: let's give her a free ride!" And those doctors that performed the in vitro should lose their licenses. This is truly disgusting!
Re: vahavtackhai – being on diability myself, I can tell you that they stop paying you after a certain number of children (three maybe?) so the other 11 are on her. also, all the freebies will be considered income and she will have to pay tax on it so she will be liable to the irs. Personally, I think that the doctors that performed the ivf, even though there are no set guidelines, should be responsible for something. there are recommendations and they include a psych evaluation, also the fact that she was a single woman. not that I feel is anything wrong with a single woman raising a child, but even 6 children by a single mother that does not work, does not have money, housing is too much-one child is too much. also, with ivf, the last few years, drs normally only put 1 or 2 fertilized eggs in-maybe 3 if she is older, NOT EIGHT EGGS
