The Internets Is King

Just like the magazines and newspapers are hurting, television is suffering these days too. But, the Web rules!
According to a new report, the month of December had a 13% jump in online video viewership than the month before.
Just in the US alone, online viewers watched a record of 14.3 billion videos in December.
YouTube which held about 41% of the market share, following at a very distant second and third by Fox an Yahoo.
Can TV do anything to stay relevant????

lol no
youtube is fawking awesome.
FIRST!!!!
I give newspapers about another 10 years and they will be obsolete. Sucks because trying to read the news online is shit. There's nothing like having a newspaper spread out in front of you in the morning with a cup of coffee.
STR8 UP YOUTUBE JUNKIE . RIGHT HERE. ( ME )
Yuotube is the best!! You don't have to watch a full news story, or tv show, or even wait to see a video. If it was new and noteworthy, they post the clip of it almost instantly. Who needs to wade through a bunch of crap for a few minutes of wonderful, and se it instantly on you p/c. I LOVE youtube!!
I like youtube because I can look at ladies with big boobs anytime I want. I don't have to go to the store and buy ladies with big boobs videos.
T.V. should disappear completely…total waste of time and money. The Internet is where it's at…
Reading is also excellent entertainment.
Re: Genghis Khan –
You make a great point, bitch. I like reading the newspaper in the morning while eating my breakfast.
That's a really good question, Perez. I'm not sure how TV can stay relevant. Going fast are the days that people want to get force-fed. People like having a menu to choose from online- what and when. There isn't much special on TV that can't be online as far as I can imagine. Even endorsements and advertisements have invaded online sites- which is how sites like these these and others flourish.
YouTube is awesome!!! In this shitty ecomony, who can afford cable?? I still get to use the internet at work though, haha!!!
Adults used to tell little kids that sitting too close to the TV will ruin your eyesight. Now we know that's bullshit, we can sit as close as we want, stop and re-start it, or rewind parts we missed! We're pretty spoiled, and we're not going back. I have basic cable mostly to have CNN.
Hire good writers and pay them well.
.
Everything is run by bean counters these days.
.
Where is the creativity?
How about cheaper cable. How about giving us free HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, History Channel, Discovery and many other cool channels. I don't understand why cable has to be so damn expensive.
Youtube and Google are excellent.
mmm ok…
How many internets are there? I thought there was only one.
From Wikipedia: "Internets" is a Bushism-turned-catchphrase used humorously to portray the speaker as ignorant about the Internet or about technology in general.
LOL
