Daytime's First Gay Wedding Comes To ABC!

Just because Prop 8 passed in California doesn't mean it has any effect on Pine Valley!
ABC's All My Children is planning to walk down the aisle on February 13th and 16th with a wedding to remember, the first gay nuptials in daytime television's history!
The marriage will be between lesbian couple Bianca Montgomery (Eden Riegel) and Reese Williams (Tamara Braun), and they promise to bring the on-screen affection.
After the ban on kissing between As The World Turns' gay couple, Luke and Noah, Riegel reassures AMC's audience the relationship will remain true to life: "There’s no holding back in the physical realm. We’ve never been told to hold back. ABC is allowing us to trust our instincts."
We can't wait for the girl-on-girl action that's to come!

As an AMC watcher, I hate to say this but there seems to be no chemistry between these two actresses in their kissing scenes. I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but they seem to either dislike each other or are uncomfortable about kissing another woman. It's really obvious. I love both actors; Eden she's enormously talented and Tamera was wonderful as Carley on General Hospital, but as far as their storyline goes, I don't see the connection. Hope the wedding doesn't disappoint!
Eden is awesome, she does a show on Youtube called Imaginary Bitches which is hilarious. I didn't even know she was on All My Children.

I'm an avid AMC watcher - as for the gay wedding, in the previews for upcoming storylines, they show the wedding one minute and the next, Tamara Braun's character is kissing a man. Not sure I'd be too proud of that "gay marriage".

This couple has no connection on screen. Whenever they kiss, this still have the same ammount of lip gloss on. Also, one of them is secretly in love with her brother in-law, so this blows the wonderful true gay story line. AMC has gone too far with this wedding night gay thing, it will turn off many loyal viewers.

Edna and Norma, Passions lesbian couple (and probably the best lesbian couple to ever grace the television screen), were married towards the end of the series.
Tabitha married them.
Any event on daytime TV, you can bet Passions did it first.

I have been watching AMC for years and have always loved the character Bianca…however she has NO chemistry what-so-ever with the other chick.
