The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has deemed Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers hooded jackets for children a potential strangulation hazard.

Yikes!

Consumers are encouraged to either remove the offending ties or return the jackets for a full refund (of $75!).

      i'm surprised cause most childrens hoodies now a days are (thankfully) made with out those ties. when i was little my mom would always just pull them out. no big deal. i thought it was common sense that those are dangerous to children..

      It is a well known apparel manufacturing rule that drawstrings are not allowed on children's, infant's and toddlers apparel at anytime. This just goes to show that the designers, manufacturers and quality people connected with this line don't really know what they are doing! Maddens me!
