Just Like Arnold! Val Kilmer Considering Run for Gov of New Mexico
We could have another actor turned governor on our hands, America!
20-year New Mexico resident, Val Kilmer, has revealed that he might be up for a run at the state's governor's office in 2010.
"I'm just looking for ways to be contributive," says Val. "And if that ends up being where I can make a substantial contribution, then I'll run."
He also said that if he did run, he'd WIN!
So confident!
The actor admits to voting for Obama and appears to be inspired by the new President as well.
Kilmer said if he ran it wouldn't have to be a conventional campaign.
And, while he's mulling over throwing his hat into the race, Val's getting out and listening to the peeps in the state.
"What I do for a living is listen," said Val.
We wonder if fellow actor/New Mexico resident, Julia Roberts, will campaign for Kilmer?

I live in NM and I heard this news last summer… he won't win. After that interview a couple years ago in Rolling Stone bashing our state, and the way he acts in our towns (did you know he has in his contract not to look him in the eye when speaking to him??? I worked somewhere he used to visit a lot)….he won't win. Ugh…. he tries to do good things… sometimes… but he is mainly just a fucking huge D-bag…
