ok fatfuck, i have a 2 year old daughter who sings that song after hearing it 1 time, she does not realize what the song is saying, most kids dont anylize that, my 8 year old son does not pay attention to song lyrics yet, he loves that song, in fact he did not really even understand til he heard the i kissed a squirrel version from jackie beat then he was like whoa thats disgusting. parents really should make sure music they allow their kids to listen to is age appropriate, that includes myself, i always try to find clean versions of songs before i allow my son to listen, no clean version than it wont be added to his ipod~ its not a good thing for kids to think its cool or in style to be BI or homosexual. I don' t know if it's accepting so much as naive, It's like when "Magic Stick" first came out,my friend's kid was singing it and didn't know what it meant. When I was a kid I would sing "So Many Men So Little Time" now that I know what it means I would be a little upset to learn that tweens would vote it song of the year. I think Nick should sensor some more.

People like me who listened to college radio were such a super minority to those who listened to mainstream…so it wasn't like there were 50 million 13 year olds singing it. It was also not so blatant with sexual innuendos or references as mostly all of today's music is. It never was on the Billboard Charts, and ONLY became popular in the late 90's when it was 'rediscovered' and used in movies and commercials.
