Miley vs. The Jonai: It's A Showdown!

Looks like the Jonas Brothers are getting a lot more help from Disney than the controversial and racially insensitive Miley Cyrus did.
If you recall, Slutty Cyrus had her Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert film playing on less than 700 3-D screens across the US last year. The concert flick made Disney $31 million during its first weekend.
But, now, it's the JoBros' turn - and Disney plans to put Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience in several hundred more giant 3-D screens for its release this February 27th, giving it exposure in over 1,100 3-D screens, including in 55 Imax venues.
At the moment, the flick is being promoted as a "one week only" engagement. If it's successful enough, which we think it will be, Disney might add an additional week or more in some theaters - as they did with Miley.

well ya know what? miley cyrus' 3d concert was the first one that disney ever put out into theaters so they didn't put it into many theaters in order to protect their assets. now that they see how well miley's concert was accepted by the public, they now can have assurance that their next attempt at a 3d concert will be well receipted. oh, and perez…stop calling miley a slut until you have actual proof that she is, because i'm pretty sure you don't have any right to be calling her that. kthanksbye.

And yeah, the jo-hoes are gonna be in more theaters because if you recall, after the success of mileys movie, disney paid to help more theaters get 3-d screens things(w/e they are).
why is everyone bashing them so hard? do none of you have standard morals and ideas that allow you to understand how these boys are inspiring teens around the world? they are the 0.01% of celebrities that don't get involved in drugs and sex, and advocate that very well, because those are issues that are plaguing teens today, and cause major and detrimental problems to our generation. i think its disgusting that many of you are ignorant of that and assume that it's "normal" for teens to screw up their lives with drugs, or encounter unwanted pregnancies or STD's. i think it's wonderful that they jonas brothers go against the norm of the younger generation, something that makes them true role models in today's society. if you want to shit about them, thats your own choice, but its not going to make anything any better for you.

Both are amazingly popular to a wide range of audiences, but msotly of course in the preteen and teen range. The Hannah Montana 3-D concert was as you said in less theatres, but it would only make sense becuase it was Disney's first 3-D movie in a normal theatre. Obviouly, they will be cautious with that approach, no matter who the singer is. I did contribute in going to the Hannah 3-D to see how well Disney could do something like that, and I must admit, the effect of it overall was pretty cool to watch.

I mean, how many people go to a movie theatre to watch a concert?! You usually buy it on a dvd, like I did with BOBW, and watch it at home.
