Way to go Mickey Rourke!!!
WOOOOO! WALLACE AND GROMIT!
WTF is a WordPress database error? OOPS!
woo. Dont care.
off topic …I see your book has died out huh Mario…
YAY! Go Mickey Rourke! He better win the Oscars!
What the heck is the BAFTAs? I have never heard of them.
Once again, it appears that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been "overlooked" for any awards. I wonder if they'll attend the Academy Awards gala or hide out in one of their numerous mansions and avoid potential embarrassment.
Perhaps Hollywood is trying to inform these two "posers" to stay home and raise their ever increasing brood of rug rats and quit making movies for a few years…and if so, do you think they'll listen?
I can't even take British award shows seriously. Who cares?
And the winner of THE BALSAC AWARD: Jenna Haze for having more pipe laid in her dumper than in all of Alaska!
Re: amp_it_up4564211 – The BAFTAs are supposedly the British version of the Oscars; however, they're not even in the same league. I don't even think they're broadcast in the U.S. and the Oscars are broadcast everywhere and are actually entertaining.
who cares its barely even an award! the oscars and golden globes yeah but the baftas i mean come on do we really need it?
Re: sarapilar – Is your avatar Ron Paul on some gold standard currency?
AHAHAHA
Brill.
Yay for Wall E!
Re: harrybalsac – Who was the runner up?Belladonna?
Boring!
Congrats to Kate Winslet!
of the awards, don't care other than those two made the trip and won NOTHING
This Wrestler movie must be pretty damn good for Mickey Rourke to keep winning. Damn
Re: New Yawk Punk – - "the Oscars are broadcast everywhere and are actually entertaining."
wtf?! the oscars r entertaining? its become shit worse than miley cyrus' talent, and shes fukin BAAAD!!!
its like watchin a load of manequinnes sat at fancy tables being there because they luv the cameras. load of bull.
I'd consider wondering what u find 'entertaining' in your life, but then i'd probably have to go and watch and watch an episode of Hannah Montana and kill myself.
I am so happy for Mickey Rourke. I love a good comeback story!
AND THE WINNERS ARE… NOT THE THE UGLY AND THE HOME WRECKER! THIS COUPLE SHOULD REST! SO OVER! THEY ARE REALLY UNCOOL! WITH ALL THOSE AWARDS LOST, THEY MUST REALIZE THAT THE FANS AND COLLEAGUES DO NOT LIKE LIARS AND HOME WRECKERS! YOU ARE UNCOOL! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Re: Shnazzer93 – Don't get your British titties in a twist. Maybe you could go brush your teeth for the first time or something.
Don't worry, I've never even watched the Disney Channel. I didn't even know the Jonas Brothers existed until Perez posted about them. You can find me sitting in front of a Woody Allen film
oh no…Brangelina lost again…LMAO!! At least Jen has had (2) #1 movies in a row, and her HOT boyfriend won a GRAMMY last night…OOOOO La La…Poor Brange..maybe they should just SKIP the Oscars..LMAO!
slumdog and hunger are great films. im also chuffed to bits for noel clarke for his win, kidulthood and adulthood are such good films
Re: New Yawk Punk – the oscars arent broadcast in the uk! unless they are on some obscure sky channel but definitely not on a real channel
Too bad Heath had to win for that Batman crap when he was so 'effin good in Brokeback. Kind of a travesty.
Everyone who was expected to win the main awards, won so smiles all around. Kate Winslet hugging Daniel Craig and I honestly thought she would lift him up off the floor. Mickey Rourke's speech about how he'd fucked up 15 years of his career but enjoyed looking at Marisa Tomei. Sharon Stone looked and sounded pissed. It was more entertaining this year than it was last year. To the people who say its a British Oscars…no it so isn't. Firstly there are three award ceremonies with the name BAFTA. The film one which took place last night is the film one, in June-ish there will be the TV one and then later on in the year there will be the Children's TV BAFTAs, like the Nickelodeon Kids Choice but a little more serious.
The BAFTA film ceremony is considerably shorter than the Oscars and they don't take place at stupid o clock. There is no way that a band will get up and play the soundtracks and there is no way Ryan Seacrest would be there on the red carpet. BAFTAs are presented by the ever delightful Jonathan Ross who actually managed to keep his gob shut last night until Mickey Rourke turned the air blue then Wossy had to shove his joke about being suspended for 3 months. Mick Jagger's joke about the Artist/Actor exchange programme was funny especially when he said Brad and Ange and family will be performing the Sound of Music at the BRITs next Wednesday. Coincidentally, the BRIT awards are the anti Grammys. Anything goes and there's a lot of free booze. Its always car crash telly.
And do the Oscars recognise director talent? Like Steve McQueen? Do they recognise rising stars? Like Noel Clarke? They are not aired on a terrestrial channel although I think Sky Movies air it. Never been bothered to stay up long enough to watch it. Couldn't be arsed if I'm being honest.
I cried of laughter for hours when I saw the title of 'A Matter of Loaf and Death'
IT'S SET IN A BAKERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: The Mancunian Candidate –
wtf: yep, they are =)
there either on sky one or sky premiere
But maybe you live in wales or scotland
they never have any good tv
