Grammys Ratings Up This Year!
Good news for CBS' advertisers!
Sunday night's Grammy viewership was up 10% from last year.
A healthy 19 million people tuned it!
The diverse talent line-up and hard marketing push is credited for the bump up in ratings.
In a statement, a CBS suit said, "It was a broadcast with something for every generation and, importantly, it was supported by a marketing campaign for every platform."
According to reports, everything from a Katie Couric prime-time special earlier in the week to a marketing push on social-media sites like Facebook and Twitter were used to get the message out.

I think it was a little to do with Katie Couric's interview, but a lot of people wanted to see how J Hud was going to do w/ her first ever Grammy performance. I realized Beyonce didn't show…I wonder if she was upset the spotlight would be on J Hud?

I liked it. Good variety of talent. I wanted to reenact the Pretty Woman piano scene with Justin Timberlake. He looked so hot as always!

I wasn't entirely impressed with the show as a whole. It was kind of boring, and I actually think I would have enjoyed slightly longer speeches. My favorite perfomance was Taylor Swift singing Fifteen, but it's such a shame that Slutty Cyrus went and butchered the song.
Be more specific…the rating went up for the Jonas Brothers' performance. Climbed when they were announced and dropped after they performed. I read it on E!

umm i really liked the miley & taylor performance and the 'swagga like us' performance as well.
Grammys were cool because of all the collabos. I enjoyed them Long commercials though. God, america is so hard to please from reading everyone else's responses.

I was actually in the mosh pit at the show and i really enjoyed the show. there were a lot of older performers and i didn't know some of those songs but over all it was a great show.

Jennifer Hudson hands down the highlight of the night.
The part of that show was Carrie Underwoods legs. She is smokin hot. Her boyfriend Mike Fisher is one lucky dude. Seriously she rocked that song.
I really enjoyed seeing Paul McCartney & Dave Grohl. I clapped in my living room after it was over.
Jennifer Hudson was stunning and amazing.
loved the swagger like us performance with MIA, Kanye, Jay-Z and TI.
actually really enjoyed the four tops with Jamie Foxx and Ne-Yo as the replacements for the two that have passed, thought they were all great.

I cried watching Jennifer Hudson. That said, I was really offended by the choice to pair the Jonas Bros with Stevie fucking Wonder. I mean, I'm sure the boys are talented but… jesus christ… stevie is a LEGEND. I get that they were trying to capture a broader audience etc but I think it was sorta insulting to Stevie. Nuff said. I'm on team J-hud!

1 thing was different about this year's Grammy's and 1 thing only, and I know a big number of people who were watching for 1 reason only…RADIOHEAD.
My favorite moment was when Craig Ferguson walked on stage. Ooof–the man is smokin' hot. Plus, he was the only funny presenter.
I fast forwarded thru it on my DVR. Thought it was cool that Justin played piano, Neil Diamond and Paul McCartney rocked, Jennifer Hudson was wonderful and Kid Rock was pretty cool but the rest of it was crap. The abortion of the show was the rap medly. WHERE THE FUCK WAS PINK???! It's not a real Grammy ceremony without Pink!! Maybe even SHE knows the Grammys (like the Oscars) suck!
I think the Grammys were pretty god this year. I fell asleep towards the end tho. My favorite moments, believe it or not, were the Swift/Cyrus duet, and of course Ms. Hudson blew the roof off. Finally Kid Rock, rocked out!!!!!!!!!
Radiohead was my favorite. Genius. Coldplay sucked.

OMG, was there and it was awesome but can I just say… how in the hell is Robert Plant & Alison Krauss "pop"?? It upset me VERY much when they won for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals!! I never even heard their songs and they won what, 5 GRAMMY's? Get with the times GRAMMY dudes! Katy Perry's set was awesome and JT is a true performer even if he is a douche sometimes. And what about the HOT MESS of WHITNEY HOUSTON???????
Did not watch. I would do anything to AVOID hearing Miley Cyrus' horrible trashy voice and attitude.

Taylor Swift is not a good singer… all her songs is her in a princess dress…but SOOO pretty compared to that thing called " Miley"…(HAHA the real name of miley is Destiny Hope…. SOOOOOO FUNNY!!!! I was very proud of Adele cuz she was like the underdog and she WON!!! and The Beatles are my ALL TIME FAVORITE… Paul Mccartney should have sung a better song… thats pretty much it…LOL
