Absolutely TRAGIC. There is NO WAY she or her mother (or even both, together) will able to provide financially or emotionally for these 14 children on the level that will be required. ANnyone who argues differently is ignorant and blind. She doesn't even have a job, her mother supports them and they were "struggling" with just 6 kids. She "saved" the money up for IVF… but now what about food, clothing, medical expenses, utilities,Car seats, safe transportation for all 14 , etc… Not to mention the physical and emotional needs of 8 premature babies. It's just sickening and tragic. So SO sad.

Does no one else see the irony in her wanting to be a counselor when clearly she's the one who needs some intense counseling? I see nothing but problems down the road for this "family". Right now she has 14 kids, one of whom we know has special needs. What's unknown is whether or not the octuplets will all be ok or whether some of them will also be special needs kids. If they are, how will she manage to care for one or more special needs kids while also managing to care for and raise all the other kids? I had two 2 year olds and a newborn infant in heart failure and that was a nightmare. Even with two parents my two year olds didn't get the individual time they deserved because of all the time we had to spend in the hospital with our newborn that first year. It was tough. I can't imagine having 14 kids. That woman is in for more problems than she has even imagined, no matter how good her intentions are. I wish her much luck because she is going to need it.

ALL THIS SHITS, I BLAME IT ON HER PARENTS , if they never would have taken care of those 6 children of hers in the first place she never would have had any free time on her hands to go head with having 8 more, let alone having nose surgeries and lip injection and her nails done (which she has to do them regulary ) not to mention having so much free time on her hands to copy angelina jolie's every little moves, they should have at least stopped helping her the moment they realized she's trying to get pregnant again and with this type of pregnancy they knew it's going to be more than one child so if even then they would have stopped helping her with the six kids i bet you she never would have tried for these 8 kids if she would have had to take care the kids herself ,and would have realized how difficult raising these kids would be, of course she has free time on her hands since she's not taking care of any of these kids so she think having kids is a peace of cake , the parents brought this on themselves, now they are not the only ones who are going to suffer, the poor kids are going to suffer as well that's what happens when parents raise SPOILED BRAT KID who thinks she can have whatever she wants and her being the only child, god knows how spoiled & rotten they raised her to be.

I don't think she is insane, she's just coming from a place of loneliness, and wanting what she always wanted as a child, a big family… I have one child, and i want a big family too, but i do feel overwhelmed sometimes and think it would be hard right now to have another, so more power to her if she can handle it, she's not like other mom's out there having all these babies, and just relying on the government to take care of there financial situation.

Anyone who has ever suffered from infertility knows what she would have gone through. Chances of conception with IVF are very small per embryo (I have had several IVFs and FET's with no success and spent more than ten thousand dollars on failed treatments and it's a lot cheaper here in australia) so I think she honestly didn't expect anything like octuplets. I have no idea how she will support them but maybe there is some really rich lonely guy is looking for a family huh? I wish her the best of luck because it's going to be insanely hard for her. I finally managed to have a baby last year and he is a huge blessing but such a handful. Fourteen children seems like a herculean task to me. I think she will shedding many tears.

I feel badly for her parents, the irony is if they would have given her 1 or 2 siblings it may have avoided this situation. Now at this stage in their lives they are raising 14 children.

Her "degree" is going to help pay for her FOURTEEN children? First of all, where did she get the money to go to school to get a degree? oh gosh give this woman a break. how are you so sure that she got a nose and lip job recently or ever? i saw the interview and i don't think she's crazy. she may have made a very risky decision in choosing to have eight children, but what can you do? they're already here, right? healthy and strong and lets hope that they remain that way for the rest of their lives, and even if she is a single mother it does not mean that she is not mentally and emotionally capable of raising her children on her own.

At first I felt sorry for the neg response this woman was getting, now I feel CPS should investigate her.
Her poor mother or grandmother is and has been finacially caring for her OTHER 6 kids., and didn't want her to have anymore kids for her( grandma) to raise.
Someone from the government should also check into what she is spending her student loans on. I don't think lip injections and IVF are on the list of school expenses.

I see comments that say what's bad about having that many kids etc…There is a difference between say families like the Duggar's and this woman. Can you imagine the feeding, changing, bathing, etc… schedule for 8 premies. Round the clock. Not even 2 people could do it with just those 8 babies, let alone 6 others. NOT possible. How many professionally trained NICU nurses are caring for them right no? Who is paying that bill? I can't even begin to imagine the total hospital cost for this woman's baby obsession. It will be astronomical!!!!! This woman was either insane or completely irresponsible in choosing to do this. I hope to God that DYFS opens a case with them, if there isn't already an open case, and stays involved. Those poor kids aren't going to get anything they need in life, including the attention. Just by looking at her, you can tell she is extremely selfish–from her nose to her soul. Poor kids. I know what it's like to grow up neglected by one parent, and not having the other one there. It hurts a lot. At least if DYFS took them away, they would find homes very quickly, because they are all so young and because of the notoriety the case has.

It's true IVF usually doesn't work, so people will often implant a few in hopes that one will actually come to term.
I hate that people are judging and hating on her so much because I understand wanting to have a big family, but personally I think 6 is enough. I just don't like that she said she was struggling to feed her other kids and she'll do the 'best she can'. If you have kids you need to be able to take care of them and if you can barely take care of the ones you have having more kids isn't gonna help. I really wish the best for her and her kids though.

Even more sad she is going to stay single the rest of her life. When all of her 14 kids grow up and get married to start their own lives she'll grow old alone, what douche bag is going to want 14 kids that aren't his ????
Can you imagine when all 8 kids want to go to their senior prom or graduation trip, how they hell do you pay all that? Yea I guess she's fulfilling her dream with selfishness, but those kids are gonna have a fucked up life and aren't gonna get to do shit!

the babies are beautiful i hope their ok xxxxxxxx and grrrrr i can't help but think she's really selfish her reason for wanting kids more than the 6 she has and cant look after 'iwas lonely as a child and wanted more and more' wtf um who's helping her look after them um her parents grrrrrrrrrrr i think invitro is amazing but come on she wasnt thinking of anyone not her kids she had already not her parents not the serious problems the children could have she thought about HERSELF! thats not a mom most can carry children some unfortunately can not and never get over it some adopt or foster etc…..but it takes someone super special to be a MOM not everyone can do it im lucky (with my MOM) but those babies god help them x

Re: jeanmarie – i hope to but there only doing there job when they choose like yey its tv chance to make us look good for not doing are jobs the way we should! thats why so many babies or children die a year because there not doing there job right they were called out to this place time and time again but you know a bit of 'would ya like a drink etc' and 'fakeness' and report 'fine' few weeks later kids dead or abused so badly their never ever be normal or live normally!

OY. She comes off as a lady who would love them enough to kill them. She dodges all the financial questions and fills in the blanks with LOVE. love love love love love, as far as I'm concerned "love" didn't feed my two children this week. and "love" doesn't pay bills "Oh, the water bill is here… LET'S SEND THEM HUGS AND KISSES!"

Publicist-check Manager-check Manicure-check Lip implants- DOUBLE CHECK Nose job-check. How in the world does she plan going back to school? I thought she wanted to give herself to her children and love them, and be with them. and good luck finding 14 open spots in one day care center. Who's going to flip the bill??? I pay 180 a week for my 20 month old and 160 for my 3 year old. SHE WOULD BE PAYING OVER 8K A MONTH on day care alone! 1 large can of formula is (if I remember correctly) about 30dlls depending on the brand I guess…she will need at least 2 a day once they're older and even more after!!! BABIES CAN'T BE SWITCHED TO REGULAR MILK UNTIL THEY'VE REACHED THE 12 MONTH MARK! 1 large box of diapers from Sam's club is 30dlls.. can you imagine how many diapers a week she'll need??? I know I keep going and going on about it, but it's disgraceful, sad and shows how much of an opportunist this woman intends to be. How can you even keep a home clean with 14 children under 8 around?! WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN
