Re: Studio – not all countries try to copy american styles, its just some managers like to have that type of group because they praise many singers. Like they like lots of mainstream people, but not one hit wonders. But this is what music is called K-Pop, because its the POPULAR music, the least popular artists have their own orignal styles. not all groups in korea are like snsd, its basically snsd and some smaller groups but theres difference everywhere around the world. Music is universal and it can be enjoyed any way, thus saying that american music can be good to some and crap to others and other way around for kpop, but trying to make music truly universal will require patience within people and time to get used to other styles.

I know many people keep recommending k-pop to check out. Here's my suggestion, check out Clazziquai. Clazziquai also has a few songs in English too.
i personally don't like snsd, girl's generation, whatever you want to call them, but i have to admit that this song is catchy, but mainly at the gee gee gee part. its sucks for them that only a couple of the girls are popular like yoona, taeyeon, tiffany, and hyoyeon (at least that's who i know).
to whoever said that PCD is better than them, i disagree. from what i see Nicole is the only one singing, not the group, just nicole. so to say that PCD as in the whole group is good, that's a lie. and seriously, they need to act their age. "when i grow up" please, you girls are already grown ups.

i don't like snsd much either… their music is more focused on the tween audience like miley cyrus or the jonas brothers, so i can understand why ppl are kind of turned off by their image. but yeah i def agree with nomi and jonray~ perez, def try clazziquai or epik high! you won't be disappointed!

please do not generalize asian music as american ripoffs, only koreans tend do this. the rest of asia at least incorporates traditional sounds or a fusion of east and west.

Right…. Just because she's the main one singing doesn't mean the other ones don't sing. Melody is an awesome singer. Carmit has an awesome range and power. It just so happens that Nicole is lead and I mean lead because they use her image. But even then Nicole has a great voice when she isn't trying to go all over the place.
