Chris Brown's initial felony charge of making a threat might not be the only charge Brown will encounter at his court date next month!
The Los Angeles district attorney is now involved in the case.
LAPD chief investigator, Detective Deshon Andrews, hand-carried his findings to the district attorney Tuesday afternoon.
Prosecutors looked at the files and then asked Andrews for "an additional investigation," DA spokeswoman Jane Robinson said.
Detective Andrews is adamant about keeping the details of the case (photos, documents, the 911 call) from the media, but a bit of info regarding the 911 call was disclosed — the call recorded audio of "a screaming woman."
Police have refused media requests to hear the 911 call that led to their investigation early Sunday, but Andrews said it mostly recorded the sound of "a screaming woman."
Poor, poor RiRi.

Okay, I think it's safe to say that, even with all the scattered evidence we have, he obviously did do SOMETHING horrible to Rihanna. Innocent people don't randomly turn themselves in because, hey! Possible jail time is neat-o!
So keeping that in mind, and also the basic idea of this whole story (Chris gets pissed. Chris beats the living shit out of Rihanna), we can also deduce that the kid lacks self-control.
This incident took place in a residential neighborhood, at a time when most people who lived there, would have been home. We now know that Ri was NOT the one to call police. A person who lived in the area and heard her screams, did.
I really, really feel like if they were in a more secluded area, Ri would have ended up with far worse injuries. At some point, Chris must have realized, in his rage, "Oh shit. She's screaming, and LOUD." .Loud enough for someone to hear her and call police, right? Because this is what happened.
If that particular detail about Ri having contusions on either side of her head is true, if Chris didn't stop beating her when he did, sad to say, but Ri could have ended up with some serious brain damage. What if she landed in a coma? I don't know the legal system inside-out, but if things went that far, couldn't CB also be looking at a possible attempted murder charge?
