On Tuesday's episode of The Bonnie Hunt Show, Bonnie welcomes guest Hilary Duff, who takes a moment to comment on her celebrity feud with the old and scary-looking Faye Dunaway, aka Crazy McDiva.
Former Disney star Hilary defends herself and her possible lack of talent by saying that Dunaway "started acting way later than I did so I think I have time to grow and grow with each project. I am learning and work hard at my craft."
And while Hil admits that her response may have been a little unkind, she also says, "It's not ok for people to take stabs at you and to say mean things for no reason."

Faye Dunaway will forever be remembered for those roles…..Hillary Duff however is only thought of, when she is thought of, as "Lizzie McGuire." The fact is that it requires talent to truly act, talen that Duff lacks. Bonnie and Clyde were killers, they robbed and murdered, and died in a blood bath that people still talk about (or in some cases look up to). Hillary Duff lacks the versatility to play someone like Bonnie Parker, someone who grew up dirt poor in the depression era, someone who ran off with a bisexual form prison inmate (Clyde Barrow), and someone that killed for the fun of it. Besides this fact, she couldn't even come up with an intelligent retort. Yes Faye Dunaway is old, she has to be in her upper 60's by now, how the hell does Hillary think she is going to look when she is that age???

Hilary has a point. Faye should have waited until the movie premiered and then made her comments if she had any. To say something nasty and negative before the movie is even made was petty, immature, and unprofessional. Hilary didn't deserve the nasty comments. Dunaway has earned her creds as a serious actress and icon. Hillary Duff is a teen pop singer who has done Disney type films. Duff's work cannot begin to compare to Dunaways! Duff will regret this. She will never be a serious actress. She needs to stick to romantic comedies but that is all she will ever be able to do.
