Angelina Jolie might have a run for her money for the title of World's Greatest Samaritan!
On a recent visit to the West African country of Sierra Leone with ABC's Nightline, Salma Hayek was generous enough to donate her mammary glands to a malnourished newborn!!!
She felt an immediate bond with the baby because the newborn coincidentally shares a birthday with Hayek's little daughter, Valentina.
Saint Salma addressed the concern of sharing her daughter's milk with another baby. "I actually think that my baby would be very proud to be able to share her milk, and when she grows up, I'm going to make sure she continues to be caring, generous person," says Hayek.

Actually, the breast is pretty amazing. The majority of milk that a baby receives is produced as they are drinking. So, it's not like Salma would get back to her baby and not have enough. Her breasts would just make more.

First of all, newborns don't have teeth, so they won't make you bleed. Also, nipples are naturally antibiotic and antiviral. So is breast milk. I wouldn't worry at all about catching a disease from breast feeding. The only thing that could potentially happen is a yeast infection. I'd HAPPILY breast feed any baby. If he/she was sick, even more so because it's needed!

I thought that it was really weird of her at first, but I think it is very special now that I think about it. Breast milk is the best for babies and if that little babe was hungry go for it! But, then also give the mother the means to eat properly so she can feed the baby again.

For anyone that thinks Selma did not offer a donation to this fmaily is off base becaue that part of the strory may purposely be kept private as many philathopist do not broadcast thier monetary donations. However the immediate need was breast milk and there doesn't seem to be a breast pump in sight. So she did what she thought was right…good for her and that baby. Also it may be hard for some to watch if they are not maternal enough to understand the type of hormones a mother has toward a child.
This is called LOVE for children! You do not have to COLLECT them. You have to feed them! Bravo!

Wow, thats almost all I can say. At first I thought it was strange, not that she was doing, that beautiful baby needs food, that is amazing. It makes me sad, but any way, what is strange is that she did it on television, why get recorded doing that, so someone knows you did it, to make you look good? No, she is amazing, and yes that is a very special giving thing she did, but I do not agree with her having it video taped..at all.

Examples are chickpoxs, measles…etc. It also contains virus's the mom may have. But all in all breastfeeding is the best form of nutrition for an infant if mom is healthy.
