Perez I usually agree with you whole heartedly, but this time I have to disagree. Rihanna isnt as innocent and perfect as people are tying to portray her. I believe she had to do something in order for chris to hit her. I also have heard that Rihanna would beat on chris and he would never hit her back. Its unfortunate the first time he did, this happens.

Tho this isnt all clear, it is FACT that chris brown was arrested and had to post bail to get out of jail. It is also fact that she was beat. Im sure its quite obvious that Chris did it, or else he wouldnt even turn himself in, nor would they lock him up for 50 grand or however much his bail was, and they wouldnt have pressed charges, like they already have. Im kind of sick of everyone defending Chris Brown, its kind of obvious the kind of attitude a lot of these women have towards domestic abuse. They look pass the abuse and think of ways to make it ok or think that maybe he didnt mean it or this is a misunderstanding. Shes canceled her own damn birthday and concert because of it and Chris has been dropped from his campaigns. Even if "Rihanna isnt perfect" no woman deserves to get beat the way that she did. EVER.

Rihanna when he's been in the fame game for a while and knew that they had to go to the Grammys later. according to certain sources, what actually happened is that the two had broken up and were all ready to put on a good show for everyone one last time, when they decided to go to a pre-party and Rihanna got into an altercation with some stank b*tches who were all up on her man. so, she got and bit and scratched and all that… and the stank hoe "witness" is blaming Chris Brown. dunno…. hopefully the truth will prevail.

So, he is driving a rented fast sports car. She has bites on her hand. She assaulted him while he was driving, endangering both their lives. He was wearing his blue tooth, got a call from a woman RiRi didn't like him to talk to (she saw the phone), and she tried to take the bluetooth of his left ear violently. He couldn't see the road as she was obstruting his view.He swerved and had to get her off him, unfortunately she was injured and he was too, but at least they didn't crash.
She started it, due to the speed and urgency of the matter, she was injured. No man bites fingers for the hell of it. He was fighting for both of their lives.

Firstly we don't all know the information.
Not for one second am I condoning domestic violence or abuse against women…. but why is it only abuse against women which is being focused on here. For example, one case may be that CB was defending himself- is it ok for Rihanna to hit and punch him all day and for it to be classified as a tussle or arguement but as soon as he tried to defend himself it's classified as domestic violence?
Why is it not seen as such a taboo for a woman to hit a man- if this happens a man is meant to take it and not relatiate but a woman can swing out at her husband or boyfriend and it's laughed at or just frowned upon.
If what is being reported is clear cut and he basically just attacked her then I think it's disgraceful but we don't know the insights into the relationship- I doubt we'll ever understand the circumstances of the incident. But if there is some explanation behind it which mitigates CB in some way I doubt this will ever come to light and his career will be tainted or ruined over a situation which is completely unjustified.

No one should be forgiving him. This is a TYPICAL BEHAVIOR among so called "gangstas" (which Chris Brown thinks he is)… all these women are excusing this because they think he's "hot" and they are willing to look past his fake personality and new history of domestic violence. This is why women get into relationships with abusive men, because it is all about looks. Chris Brown is garbage just like every other man who beats up women, and they don't arrest men for domestic violence if the woman was the one doing all the beating. I'm glad he freakin got arrested so his career will go down the toilet. He's a talentless criminal and I wish they'd lock him up for life so maybe women will get the picture that good looking doesn't necessarily equal good boyfriend/husband. I would hope that this story will make women open their eyes to see through people like this, but unfortunately there are still people here that are defending him or saying "they don't believe it." They don't have LA Times and CNN reporting domestic violence reports that aren't true.
