AGAIN! Octo-Doc Just Can't Quit His Multiple Embryo Habit
It's about time we lay off Octo-Mom (for a bit) and pay some much needed attention to the Octo-Doctor, Dr. Michael Kamrava!
Reports are coming out of the woodwork that the doc also recently implanted a 49-year-old woman with 7 embryos, resulting in quadruplets.
Although 4 babies come nowhere close to the Octo-Mom's 8, there is a reason that women are not traditionally able to conceive at that age!!
“I do think it is concerning, and dangerous, especially to the mother," a doctor close to the case explained. "She is close to 50. When women get to be that age, our fear is the cardiovascular complications, such as stroke or heart attack. That’s how serious this is."
The mother-to-be has denied that Kamrava is her doctor, as well as declining to comment on the hoopla, telling reporters, "Please respect my privacy."
She already has three other children, but wanted to stick a few more buns in the oven to raise with her second husband who is only in his early 30's.
Kamrava is currently under investigation by both the California Medical Board and American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
Sounds like a very shady doc!!!!!!!

If this is all true, then he's just being greedy. How terrible, I'm always sickened when I hear about how many children people have. Is it really necessary to have 7 kids? What about our overpopulation issue? Why not adopt? In less than 100 years, we will have to produce 30% more grain to feed the over 8bil ppl that will walk this earth. People like him are just helping to kill our earth a little bit at a time. I, for one, am NOT a breeder.

He made her become pregnant with all of those children, so he is responsible. He should have to pay child support and for her medical bills. If he didn't implant those embryos, another doctor would not have. He should be held liable financially and not the taxpayers of California.

honestly, i work in a medical office with indian people and they just want to get money out of people, they dont care. it is the same way with all indian business owners that i know, which happens to be a lot from networking, so i just think this guy might have wanted to get money, like just won't turn down any procedure, you know? thats pretty standard, seriously. those people are efficient.

Okay….Why is this new woman now being judged??? There is a HUGE difference between a SINGLE and UNEMPLOYED woman being implanted and ending up with 8 new kids when she has SIX and a MARRIED woman with 3 kids having 4…This new woman has a husband who most likely works to support the family..Who gives a shit if they wanted to have a family together?? She knew the risks associated with her age, and she took the risks…Octo-crazy-mofo-mom is mooching off the system and just doesn't care.
A MARRIED woman supporting her family should not be judged for NOT adopting and choosing to have her own family. I'll take that back..ANY woman in a stable relationship supporting her family should not be judged for not adopting.

Oh, I COMPLETELY agree! I'm thrilled that he is being investigated. I think he ought to be sued and all the Millions put into escrow for raising of these poor innocent children….Mental testing for these women who have no income ought to be included in this lawsuit…the funds go DIRECTLY to a 3rd. party "unbiased" caregiver.

Just a note about there being a reason why women traditionally can't conceive that late: I agree that multiple births are crazy and 60 year olds having babies is insane, 48 is not that old when we are living to 100 these days. Sometimes people wait to find love. Sometimes it takes years after that to conceive. Don't be SO judgemental about a 48 year old having a baby. This may be her first (first 4). Most people at that age are very capable of rasing children, you know, spouses and jobs. Besides, plenty of your precious celebs don't start having babies until they are in their 40's.
Maybe we should ask for visitation rights on the babies we are all gonna support!!!!!
