Retails sales were up in January, unexpectedly.

Sales jumped 1 percent last month, reversing a six-month declining trend and defying economists' expectations by posting the biggest increase in 14 months.

What a pleasant surprise!

      The only sales that I've seen up are Hyundai cars. Why? Because they offer that if you lose your job, they will take the car back. Not a bad deal. Sales are up 18%.

      Now you see one of the reasons why Obama wanted to push his "stimulus" package through so quickly. The economy is slowly starting to recover on its own, as most analysts predicted. Home sales are also up. The savings rate is up; people are finally saving again, instead of charging everything on credit cards. But, the Democrats don't want you to hear that. They want everyone to think the sky is falling.

      It's called TAX RETURNS!!!!! I got mine back by the 21st of Jan. So the economy is NOT back up people… people just have a little extra cash flow. Trust me… So no, it's not WHY Obama wanted to push the stimulus because the economy is slowly recovering, he wanted to push it because we're hurting NOW! Tax money is only temporary…
