      This video was beautiful. I really hope those marriages do not get annulled. I mean, clearly those couples are more than just that, they have become a family, with children. It would be completely unethical to force divorce upon a family like that. It's bad enough for the kids when the parents actually choose to get a divorce.

      I'm not gay. I don't have any family members or close friends that are gay. But still, this video made me cry. It makes me so sad to think these people who loved each other and were so happy to get married will have it taken away from them. I don't see why we can't just be happy for other people. What is so wrong about two consenting non-related adults in love? Fuck what the bible says. Honestly, it makes me sick to spread such hate. These people have as much as right as anyone else to get married.

      im a conservative and i agree that gay couples should be granted the same legal rights as straight couples however i dont think they should be called marriages b/c the term marriage is used by the christian churches to describe the sacred union between a man and a woman if you call them civil unions then thats fine by me…my uncle is gay and he has had the same partner for over 20 years now and i don't want them to be denied the same legal rights and civil rights as me…maybe california should make some adjustments to prop 8 and then try to repass it so no one has to get "divorced"

Marriage happens in many beliefs and cultures and has exsisted in some form or another way before Christianity. But as long as your throwing the good book at us maybe you should look at the passage Judge Not, lest ye be judged. According to your book that is soo important it says that only God reserves the right to pass judgement. Before you start throwing a religion around maybe you want to make sure your actually following it instead of picking and choosing the parts that you want to follow.       Everyone should go to the site, sign the petition, but also do other things in your community. It is not enough to just watch…we all must take action. Start a straight/gay alliance in your city and contact your local Congress people and demand they stand up for equal rights.       I bawled my eyes out like a school girl! Everyone looks so happy and so in love. Why on earth would you want to fuck with something so beautiful. These people are not getting married because they are accidently knocked up or something stupid, they are marrying because they found their soulmate.

      Why let millions of straight people get married for the wrong reasons, and then most likely get divorced anyways. For centuries, many marriages have been performed before a religious official, but this is not needed in order to get married. If you hear 'marriage' and think of God, that is what YOU believe it; it is not reality. In reality, Marriage is a legal union between two people who love each other, and want to love each other for the rest of their existence. If the couple is religious and decides to have God there with them, great! But marriage isn't actually a religious event. God really should not be used as a way to prove a point on the issue of Gay Marriage and Rights, as God would show no hate or discrimination against anyone. I am straight, but I feel true love should not have boundaries. you should be allowed to love whoever makes you happy, and he or she deserves to love you.
