The horrific skin infection Michael Jackson probably picked up during cosmetic surgery might cost him….his nose!!
A medical expert warned that the gloved one's nose might collapse if he does indeed have the skin eating superbug, as alleged.
Severe “staph” infections are apparently resistant to antibiotics and if not acted on quickly, could have some dire consequences for the former pop star.
A professor at London's Imperial College commented, “A wound infection like MRSA on a delicate area like the nose could cause the tissue to collapse." And his nose is already fucking wrecked!
Scary stuff!!
Yet another reason why you have to think carefully before going under the plastic surgeon's knife!!

Okay he would first have to have a nose to lose it and secondly, MRSA is not an antibiotic resistant bacteria. It is resistant to most antibiotics, but there are some very strong ones that can fight it when taken intravenously. What a misleading article.

actually perez mrsa infections are most often aquired from the hospital stay itself, not the surgery or the surgeon. do some research. this is getting frustrating for those of us who have healthcare degrees. thanks =]

Someone I knew just died from complications related to having MRSA and he did not have plastic surgery. He aquired it while in the hospital for knee surgery. He slipped on water that had spilled on the floor, and torn some ligaments in his knees, had the surgery, went to rehab, came home and appeared to be doing fine, started having the runs, fevers, became very ill and was dead in a few days(he was not young and had other medical issues). so, should we all now say that everyone should watch out for water on the ground, it could give you MRSA and you could die?
Ages ago, Howard Stern wrote in one of his books that he had a private meeting with MJ and saw that MJ's nose was gone. Too much plastic surgery will do that to you. They're now putting out this story to blame it on the staph.

Staph isn't actually a 'flesh eating bacteria' Certain strains of Staph, specifically Methacillin Resistant Staphlococcus Aureaus, have developed a resistance to almost all antibiotics. Most likely, if it gets bad, the infection will spread throughout his body by way of his blood stream. In no way should this cause his "nose" to fall off. This is, however, a life threatining infection.
ITS called MORGELLONS DISEASE whether its a form a staph many are catching it an looking for answers an i mean alot of people look it up
