Real Life Gossip Girl Coming To Bravo!
Could a real life version of Chuck Bass be out there??? Bravo can only hope!
The cable network, notorious for their reality programming of the rich and not-so-famous, are in the works to produce a Gossip Girl-esque reality show following the lives of private-school attendees in New York City.
The only concern for the network are the problems that come hand in hand with filming minors and their hard pAArtying habits!
Reports are backing up Bravo's fears, reminiscing of the "controversy [that] arose during Laguna Beach when the underage cast members were shown drinking what was presumably alcohol at the house parties featured in the show."
Whatevs!! It'll make great TV!
Both MTV and CBS have previously attempted similar shows, but both networks failed in pushing the series past the pre-production stage.
Hey, what about Rich Girls, MTV??? Don't think we forgot about that train wreck of a show!!

That one guy from Rich Girls. I forget his name, he was to two girls friend, but all I remember him saying, going to their high school prom in the limo: I don't like Bloomberg, he's not republican enough for me" THAT guy is the Chuck. There has to be more out of that guy there.

THIS IS COMPLETELY TRUE!!! I am 16 and i go to a private school in New York city and i have all my life, the producer from bravo found my number, texted, called, found me on facebook and wanted me and my friends to do the show. We were all going to do it but then we all realized we would get in A LOT of trouble if everyone knew what we did, i mean actually… but none the less it is going to be really funny to watch because most of the people they got to do it i didnt know they went out on the weekends….haha CANT WAIT whwhooo Gotham Prep!!!

I think this would be a great idea. I would def watch it, and whether they show them drinking or not, everyone knows when theyre drunk anyways. I think it makes the show more interesting. almost every teen parties, seriously.

I have a confession to make: I have not watched 2.5 minutes total (cumulative channel surf timing) of Gossip Girl. BUT I will give Bravo's reality take on private school a serious look-see. Considering the doors opened to Bravo thanks to Real Housewifes NYC and first-hand I hear from NYC private school students/alums/teachers, it's got fab potential.
Rich Girls was NOT a train wreck of a show … if anything, I was utterly saddened when it was canceled. Ms. H was fierce!
I've lived the real life "gossip girl" life and it's not just alcohol that comes with it but copious amounts of cocaine, nicotine, adderall, pot, ecstasy, etc… There is no way that they can do this show. Clubs would be condemned for letting in minors, restaurants for serving minors, and the "stars" themselves would find themselves in a load of trouble. This is a ridiculous idea.

Do you live on the Upper East Side in Manhattan or Jersey? Because if you do, there is no school in those places (or anywhere else in NY or NJ named Gotham Prep) I would I know I go to Spence (The Spence School) so please if your going to claim to go to a elite NYC school at least type a name that is actually a school.

bc I happen to know the girl that you know on the show and i don't know what kind of random house parties you go to on the weekends but you can't exactly call that girl a looser not in the least. im assuming that ur someone who totally pretends that she could have been on it just bc the producers "asked you to be" but considering there are ppl at ur school who tried out and didn't get it oh and a text doesn't mean that you can be on it it means that they wanted you to try. and really do you think they'd allow illegal stuff to be filmed think about it
