The Haylien is set to star in a Hallmark Production of a prairie times Dr. Quinn knock-off called Love Takes Wing.
An adaptation of the Love Comes Softly franchise.
In the movie, Dr. Belinda Simpson (Jones) arrives in the town of Sikeston as a physician only to find many people have become ill or have died from a mystery ailment. She worries she’s in over her head, despite assurances from her best friend Annie (Haylie Duff). She must fight her own fears as well as the doubts of the town (who mistrust a woman doctor) and their pressure to close the orphanage (they blame the kids for the sickness). In the end, it’s faith that must lead the way.
What's next? A stint on Home & Garden TV?

Perez, I hate to tell you this, but the Love Comes Softly series is what landed Heigl her cherry role on Grey's Anatomy. The Hallmark Channel is no longer a sentence of death for an actress.

the one thing that i find soo funny about this whole duff situation, is the fact that haylie and hilary used to be best friends when they made that song/music video together, then hilary got acting gigs like a cinderella story or raise your voice, movies like that. then all haylie gets is a lame ass part in fucking napolean dynamite…the moment that movie came out her career went down the drain. i love how one makes it and the other fails
