Was It Too Soon For Usher's Wife???
As we mentioned earlier this week,, Usher's exwife, Tameka Raymond, suffered cardiac arrest as she was being anesthetized for liposuction surgery in Brazil this past weekend. And, surprisingly, the Brazilian doctors have been willing to talk about the unfortunate event to the media!
According to Ellen Dasptry, a rep for Sao Paulo plastic surgeon Dr. Silvio Sterman, the 38-year-old Tameka flew to South America to have lipo done on her stomach. Just TWO months after giving birth to the Usher's son.
CRAZY! Doesn't that seem a bit TOO soon anyway?
Dasptry said, "Tameka Raymond came here on Friday to do a liposuction. Shortly after she went under [general] anesthesia, she suffered a cardiac arrest." She added that Tameka never received the surgery.
After the cardiac arrest she was immediately revived and placed in an induced coma. "When an attack like this happens, the doctors put the patient to sleep… and make sure that everything is okay and that there has not been any damage," says the doc. "This is the protocol every time and this is what was done."
Tameka was later transferred to one of Brazil's larger hospitals and after a week of recovery "is doing very well. In plastic surgery all over the world, there is no rule that says a woman can't have plastic surgery performed two months after childbirth."

Something doesn't seem right . . . I know women who have had surgery within months of having a baby (none of them had plastic surgery) & they didn't have any complications.
Maybe it's not just having a baby but the fact that Mrs. Raymond is older than dog-sh!t and her feeble ol heart can't handle it.

You have to give your body some time to get back to normal, you are pregnant for 9 months, it's only reasonable to allow the same amount of time to get back to pre-baby. There is a huge problem with people not willing to work to accomplish alot of things. Losing weight the good old fashioned way, will always be the best & safest. Quick fixes are rarely the best thing, and don't always last anyway. I've read about women that have lipo, and it can cause dimpling anyway, which looks like cellulite.
It is suspected Angelina Jolie had a "mummy tuck" shortly after delivering the twins and she didn't have any complications that we know of. So it can't be the length of time after a birth. It must've been Ms. Raymond's reaction in some way.

I bought my young boyfriend a trip to the plastic surgeon for Xmas because he wanted it, and I've been regreting it ever since. He suffered a stroke during surgery, this was not lipsuction it was a nose job. I have been nursing him back to health ever since. Anyway people, don't resort to DANGEROUS lipo to get rid of those extra pounds. Rather, put down the cheetos and get your asses to the gym. Sugery should be reserved for emergencies.

Congratulation for the Brazilian doctor he acted fast and saved her life, very nice of him to give the public a statement of what went wrong with Tameka.
Tameka had an anaphylasys (allergy reaction) that can be fatal if the doctor does not act fast . There is no way to know if a person will have this reaction until the general anesthesia is given . So everyone out there think before get an operation just for "looks" better be safe than sorry. If the operation is necessary than is different, otherwise just learn to like yourself. But then again no judgment here live your life and be happy!

Being in the medical field. I have been doing Cosmetic Surgery for 13yrs. It is not recommended for a woman to have any type of surgery until at least 4 to 6 months after giving birth. You need time for your body to go back to normal . Get rid of the hormones and the body go back to normal before pregnancy.
