The likely girlfriend-beater is currently staying with his biological father (who ironically works as a corrections officer) in Virginia.
The elder Brown told the media, "He's (Chris) reflecting on this situation. He's very remorseful. He's very concerned about the situation and he wants to make sure that [Rihanna's] okay. This is unfortunate, this stumble, this situation. Hopefully, he will get past it. We all have our shortcomings. We all trip."
We smell a very public trip to 'violence therapy' approaching.

n an interview with PEOPLE, Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, said that when he first heard that his daughter had been attacked by Chris Brown, "I didn't believe it.
"I know my daughter," said Fenty, 55. As for Brown, he said, "You think you know somebody, but you really don't."
Brown, 19, allegedly attacked Rihanna, 20, in Los Angeles last Sunday. He was arrested and may face charges from the district attorney.
Describing Rihanna's current condition after seeing her in Barbados on Friday, Fenty said, "There is some bruising. She will be alright. I think so."
He adds, "At some point, she will speak out. I hope she will stand up for women all over the world."
Fenty, a salesman and freelance clothing designer, said Rihanna is spending time with her girlfriends in Barbados while she heals. While Fenty said he wouldn't tell his daughter what to do, he did say, "If it were me, I'd move on."
The last time Fenty had seen Rihanna and Brown together was in July. "They seemed pretty happy," he recalls. "I don't know what went wrong."

No one hears about the thousands of abused women and children out there, no one cares unless it's someone famous, or until it's too late and on the news. If Chris Brown was Joe Blue, would anyone hear about it? Would anyone care? No. He did wrong, and I definitely don't condone what he did. But I think it is absolutely ridiculous that this is getting so much attention and so much negative hype…how about doing something positive towards the subject? Why aren't people out there fighting for the abused women and children in shelters? there is something mentally wrong with Chris. he needs help and admitting you have a problem is the first step. i do not condone this behavior, i would hope no one would condone violence not just against women, but violent behavior to end an arguement. he should keep apologizing, and he should pay for his crime. i dont think this is the end of his career, i believe he can end up with a 'comeback' in the next year or so. the reason i believe that, is because people tend to forgive easily. if r.kelly can pee on little girls and have sex with them on tape AND have it available for all the world to see and still have a loyal fan base and continue to have a lucrative career, anyone can. everyone involved in this incident should get help and get educated on domestic violence. it's a sad world, but it is a forgiving world.

Both of these people need alot of help, and more then medical for injuries, as both have repeated behavior that at some point in their lives were taught to repeat.
