Is Desperate Housewives desperate for ratings? Especially since Nicollette Sheridan is leaving?
Because rumor has it that Eva Langoria and Teri Hatcher will be swapping spit in a future episode!
A source at ABC would neither confirm nor deny the rumor, saying, "I don’t think a kiss between Eva and Teri’s characters could be ruled out, especially if it keeps people interested in the show."

Why do they always resort to kissing among women to bring in the ratings? I understand that it does, but if people are so intrigued with it, why on earth did prop 8 pass?

Re: DogTown – I think it jumped the shark when they solved the mystery of Paul's wife's death in season one, and took Mike away from Susan. As much as I loathe her, they worked well together.

A few years back, Ally Mc beal pull the same stunt and became the #1 rated episode of the whole series run. Granted it was between a then hot Calista Flockhart & Lucy Liu but the boost and the controversy was just the same to extend the series a few more seasons. Hmmm…

first of all, I don't see how this is big news. We've seen plenty of lesbian kisses on television before. Eva and Teri is not even that exciting of a bunch to be getting all hyped up about. Secondly, this lesbo kiss won't bring in more viewers, rather DH getting back to its original dark, mystery-induced roots will. And lastly, I'd be more exciting to finally see the gay couple Bob & Lee kiss on screen or Carlos and James Denton kiss. How about some straight guys kissing for once?
