Luxury Is In The Stink

The shop that girls' dreams are made of, Tiffany, is definitely feeling the economic pinch.
So much so that the legendary jewelry store just received a $250 million bond from uber rich guy Warren Buffet to get them through the tough times.
Guess a lot of ladies didn't get fancy baubles for the holidays!

Awww! I *LOVE* Tiffany's! If they'd lower their prices a bit, I'd shop there more!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
WTF? Buffet owns a huge share of Borsheim's "the Midwest Tiffanys" and I can't believe he's investing in Tiffanys! I'll bet you this was a bid to purchase the chain in the future.
I can't believe that. The store in Melbourne, Australia was so packed to the rafters yesterday that you could not move in there.
well, maybe if they didn't sell a silver bracelet worth $20 bucks for $250, people would be a little more inclined to shop there.
Not Me…My hubby got me Tiffany's for Christmas!
He knows just what his wife wants!

Tiffany & Co. is just another company that didn't control their spending; upper-level management is overstaffed and overpaid. The company wouldn't stop opening up store locations like they were KFC even when they saw this coming. Also they still throw lavish parties and give vacation trips out to their bigger spenders while laying off employees. They've totally lost me as a customer for life.
