Authorities Won't Arrest Michael Phelps for Bonggate

Michael Phelps can once again venture into the state of South Carolina without the fear of arrest hanging over his head!
We mentioned last week that 8 people were arrested in connection to Bonggate and that the S.C. authorities were trying to build a case against the Olympic champ.
But on Monday, officials said they won't charge the gold medal winner in the wake of a marijuana pipe photo that surfaced last month.

So how come everybody else at the party is getting arrested, but the guy they have a PICTURE of smoking isn't? don't get me wrong, I don't think anybody should get arrested for this particular incident, but it hardly seems fair to the 8 people who have been arrested to let off the one guy that they actually have proof on.

Today German papers wrote that in Germany 7 severely ill persons were granted an "exception" and are allowed by the German Federal Opiate Authority to get "marijuana blossoms" from German pahrmacies! Already 27 persons/patients at present are allowed to use Cannabis /Cannabiol and get it from pharmacies as well when prescribed.

It s therefore used for patients/people suffering from chronic pain disorder, disseminated sclerosis, Tourette syndrome, cancer, and HIV. Tea and cigarettes made from cannabis herbs can soothe n diminish pain and solve loss of appetite with cancer patients…"
So WHY do people always mix marijuana up with really serious drugs such as crack heroine, cocaine?

Re: Spindoc – Spindoc - the photo can't be used as evidence, because there is practically no way to prove that there was marijuana in the bong. If the prosecutor tried to bring charges, Phelps and his lawyers could just say that he put loose tobacco in the bong.
