Ashley Judd has been super busy trying to make the world a better place lately!
Earlier this month, she was calling attention to Sarah Palin's savage wolf hunting initiative in Alaska.
And then on Tuesday, the Kentucky native was among some 500 people who gathered outside the state's Capitol for a rally in support of legislation that would essentially end the practice of blasting away mountaintops to unearth coal.
Last September, Judd visited some mountaintop removal sites last and commented that she was unprepared for the destruction she saw.
Judd described "barren moonscapes" and "nothingness" where Appalachian peaks once rose skyward.
It's good to see Ash using her star power for good!
