Sam Donaldson probably couldn't get the pay increase and additional perks that he felt were his "due" and decided to take his marbles and go home to pout. With his over-sized ego, it's unlikely that he'll disappear from the limelight completely…

And he's probably walking away with an exceedingly generous "golden parachute" to keep him well-fed and content for the rest of his life.

Wish everyday americans could keep their jobs for over 40 years. He is one of the lucky ones. I was not born either but, I bet you will not see people our
