i don't think it's necessary to pair every statement in the song with an image…it made the video feel like it was directed by a 5 year old. but the end really let you into what he's going through right now. i've never been anywhere close to being in jail, so i can't even imagine going through your free life every day knowing that soon enough you're not going to have that for awhile. it has to be a scary, humbling experience. it's good to see he's committed to change though.

A kid was killed yesterday in Dallas…running with his friends, at a gas station, both groups talking s$#t…….18 years old, gunshot to the head….dead and gone. This video looks like it was done by a Freshman in high school. They looked at the lyrics and then decided to put up some b-roll that goes along with the lyrics. It reminds me of when we used to make music videos as children, when we couldn't go beyond the lyrics and interpret the imagery. The song is good, but seriously the visuals could have been a MILLION times better.
