…a busted light bulb in one of the 30 Rock actor's fish tanks!
As we mentioned earlier, a fire broke out in Tracy Morgan's fancy Trump Tower apartment on Wednesday morning.
And, yes, it was a fish tank light bulb that started the whole thing.
What kind of crazy lightbulbs go into fish tanks?!
Tracy was home at the time and reportedly escaped uninjured.
Sources say the fish also survived the blaze!
The New York Fire Department apparently arrived at the scene within three minutes of the start of the fire.
Ah, the benefits of living a fancy life!

if it's a good fish tank they have metal halide light bulbs, which get really really hot, so it doesn't surprise me at all. if you don't take care of the light bulbs they can be a fire hazard. sometimes it's not the lightbulb but the balast that runs it that usually goes up in flames!

the local pet store's salt water aquarium burst into flames as well - no fish were killed, but a coral was lost. I used to love going in and watching the clown fish, but now they've decided to not have another salt water tank due to insurance issues.

if it's a real set up…probably an HQI bulb. They get hot as a mother fucker and can explode if the oil off your hands touches them.
