Introducing…

vbecks12.jpg

Round 2 of the Victoria Beckham Collection was shown to the NY fashion crowd earlier this week.

She told those gathered in a quiet suite at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel, "I'm excited. It is more nerve-wracking than having a baby, to be honest. We've worked really, really hard. It's been very intense."

Posh is keeping the VBC operation small for now, but wants to expand.

"We can't make it too big. We can hopefully produce 750-800 pieces this season, as opposed to 400 last season. I’d love to [branch out into accessories] at some point. It's just such a small team, but I'd definitely love to do that in the future," said Mrs. Beckham.

She also added, "Every single dress I would wear myself."

What do you think?

We loves her stuff!

      Beautiful, classy…like her

    2. 2

Its hilarious that the models have the same fake plastic poses that Posh strikes anytime a camera is pointed in her direction. LOL

    3. 3

wow, what a talent, take a couple yards of material, wrap it around these skinny bitches…

      amazing!

      zzzzzzzzz………

    4. 4

      I LOVE IT!

Eh, nothing new.. it all is very her though.

      UGLY

    11. 11

      HOT!

    12. 12

wow…now we can all look anorexic and very uncomfortable!!!

    13. 13

OK, but nothing new. Lots of similar styles. Looks like you would have to be very tall and very skinny to be able to wear these…..not what most American women look like.

    14. 14

      Pretty…..

    15. 15

      Over priced …..

    16. 16

I am so happy Posh is taking this seriously instead of slappin her name on a bunch of crap! Is it true that Perez is a Scientologist? I keep hearing that!

    17. 17

because any woman with a real figure could wear these dresses…thanks victoria! the figure hugging dressing will look idealic on the average size 12…come to think of it, they prob don't come in those sizes — start sewing two together ladies!

    18. 18

Looks like EVERYTHING else out there…..

    19. 19

impressive… i thought it would b cliche.. but yeah victoria deffly kw her stuff! it looks like calvin klein but with royal colors

      not too bad

    21. 21

SOMEONE GET THESE GIRLS SOMETHING TO EAT!! A SANDWICH OR A HOT DOG OR SOMETHING!!! DANG…

    22. 22

Re: Major Dude – Come over here so I can slap that Dita shit outta ya!

    23. 23

      Re: Korn11 – are u being sarcastic?? just wondring…

    24. 24

They do look like the kinds of dresses she wears on the regular. Some of them are great but I'm not into the exagerated shoulders and she could really expand on her color pallet a bit. I don't really like the long hem. You've gotta be wearing some killer heals to make it work. You've also gotta be kind of boney to wear this line, it's not for curvey girls.

    25. 25

It's very much her style, but it's a little boring. And lets be honest, its not like she sketches/makes any of this herself…

    26. 26

Is that the only thing anorexics can wear to hide the bones and make them look like a stick?

    27. 27

The dresses look tight on the models and I bet they're size 00.

      28

I'm a fashion snob, and I would NEVER buy anything by someone who isn't a REAL designer. Celeb designers are the worst… Gwen Stefani included.

    29. 29

      Classy, I like classy!

    30. 30

Ugly and unrealistic for the average woman.

    31. 31

      I LOVE IT!!!!!!

    32. 32

umm "skanky?" You must have accidently looked at a pic of Aubrey O"Skank. These dresses are beautiful! Very elegant.

    33. 33

"Every single dress I would wear myself."

      And probably has . . .

    34. 34

It's ok, but come on… You have to be a Size 0 to look good in that! Ok or not?Hmmm.

    35. 35

      VERY BOOOOORRRRRING! AS IN YAWN!

    36. 36

The one in white buckles up the back, just like the straitjacket that inspired it.

    37. 37

::::: Vicki knows how to make bitches look SKINNY ::::: www.ThisIsWhyYoureSkinny.com

    38. 38

I love it. Its classic and edgy! I love Victoria Beckham!!

    39. 39

Is she gonna have plus size stuff too? ;) Naaa, fashion only for the anorexic.

    40. 40

The models coincidentally look almost exactly like Victoria!

    41. 41

WTH??!! she is not even a designer!! nor did she go to school to be one! i think its very unfair to real designers who worked hard for their career unlike this self centered bitch!

    42. 42

It is obvious half of you know nothing about fashion and design. Most of these cuts would look FABULOUS on a woman with a curvier frame. IN FACT if you look at some of hollywood's classic beauties you will see that these patterns are similar to the dresses they wore and NONE of those women were a size zero. How do they look on comfortable?? Of course if you are a size eight sitting at your comp trying to imagine yourself in the sizes shown IT WONT WORK. Otherwise, good on Vic, these pieces are gorgeous, simple and classic. And even if you pay an arm and a leg for ONE of them they are things you can wear again and again.

      43

gotta say, those dresses are really stunning, simple but elegent, its definatly for someone who doesn't need to show a lot of skin to be sexy….

    44. 44

      Damm…. Love them ALL!!

    45. 45

      BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    46. enen says – reply to this

      46

i'm 5'4 110 pounds and those dresses would look awkward on me…..you need to be at least 5'7….otherwise you'll just look stubby. she really shot herself in the foot by targeting a very specific size of people!

    47. 47

The sceond dress is very cool.

      48

nice stuff, simple yet very flattering silhouettes. Her comments leaving me a bit wanting though… She's only a licensed name not the designer.

Re: Sweet – You are so stupid "Sweet!"

    50. jham says – reply to this

      50

it looks just like the stuff she's already wearing - maybe she copied from her designer

    51. 51

beautiful - simple regal elegance. I'd buy every piece and i'm 5'4'. You don't need to be tall and stick thin to pull of these looks. if you are short, wear a great killer pair of heels. The silhouettes are incredibly relevant and the colours are spot on, she doesn't need to expand the palette. Also the shoulder detailing is just fantastic.

    52. 52

just what we need, more fat American cows wearing this stuff…

    53. 53

"We loves"??? what are you a 15 year old??? That sounds pretty stupid even on a blogger…
Anyways more of the same for V… you just promote her cause she included you in her failed show… the designs are truly classy and elegant but it's too repetitive I swear I saw her wearing similar ones before… she needs to launch a hat collection now that will rock!

    54. 54

Oooo I could so rock that…..with some spanx! lol!! I heard she bit off of some designer though????

    55. 55

too severe and unfeminine. that being said, Ms Beckham is not that feminine to begin with. if I had the money, give me Ms Dita Von Teese any day!

    56. 56

      Re: Rockabetty – AGREED.

    57. 57

Ohhh, pish'posh, POSH!! The white dress is weird on top… then again, that kinda top highlights your bony collar-bone. The Purple one was designed by Barney! Gotta give her props though for making good clothing for people w/ no curves, she's an expert figuring out how to make skinny look curvaceous…

    58. 58

      ehh normal..and probably wayy expensive!!

    59. 59

lOVE IT, LOVE HER… and as soon as i weigh 80 lbs ill wear it!

    60. 60

She also added, "Every single dress I would wear myself."

if I was her I wouldnt be saying its something I might wear but do wear, thats what makes sales.

    61. 61

      i love the purple one!

    62. 62

wow… what artistic vision to design a dress with sleeves and without sleeves… where's my credit card, I just got the limit increased to several mil, so I can afford it

    63. 63

BORING. same shape. i could design better, im 12.

    64. 64

Love it. Who make the heels?

    65. Chia says – reply to this

      65

Stunning. Personally I am not a size 4 so it is really not for a wide range of people.

    66. 66

Looks like she applied the KiSS school rule too literally.

      67

These celebrities DO NOT design any of these items from clothing to furniture. My husband is a furniture designer behind some of the biggest celebrity names. These celebrities do absolutely NONE of the designing and it drives me crazy to hear them say they did so. People like my husband do all the designing while these celebrities take all the credit. The celebrities get paid millions of dollars just for the use of their name on the items…a whole lot more than my husband makes. I actually heard Jaclyn Smith say that she did all her furniture designs herself based on antiques in her own home…BULL$HIT!!! She never even laid eyes on the line until she sashayed into town for furniture market.

    68. 68

it's a genius line. it actually gives women who don't have curves some umph. and a lovely hourglass look. ~applause~

    69. 69

She'd be lucky to sell one of these generic disasters. Just because you know how to drive a car does not mean that you know how to make one.

    70. 70

Looks good…. simple, classic lines that you could wear 10 years from now.

    71. 71

nothing original that normal people could wear- WHAT A SURPRISE

    72. 72

      very classy, loving it!
can't help thinking about that comment Mushy made about her.
By the way…how are those headbands doing mushy?

    73. 73

There is nothing new about this line, these kind of dresses have been hanging in the high street shops for about two years now.

    74. 74

Two comments: not much variety, and nobody but skinny bitches be wearing them clothes.

    75. 75

      REALLY boring
      just like her face

    76. 76

Somebody stole my last piece of chicken!

    77. 77

I could see wearing one of these dresses to a formal event. I really like the elegance of some of the designs. Others just aren't flattering for a "normal" woman and are too concept-y and angular.

    78. 78

i think its boring very boring they all look the same just different colors, lengths, and shoulders. blah!!

    79. 79

well hopefully it wont be priced too hogh because the only chicks fitting in that are the ones who are broke on heroin ahahahahahahah

    80. 80

Yeah, we all know why you like Victoria Beckham, Perez, because she Looks like a Boy, and Dresses like a Tranny.
      ——————————————————-

    81. 81

They all look like clones of her, this collection shows how limited her style is … although beautiful for her… I'm not interested … and question whether her target market would be interested in hearing: "you look like VB"

    82. 82

…i dunno. They're okay. It's just that they're a little too simple, I mean as far as I'm concerned anyone could do that with a little practice. and the skirts on these 2 dresses are completely the same length and style…

    83. 83

fierce!!! what a stylish line!! people give posh a hard time so its good to see her proving them wrong!
