Talk about sad, tragic and twisted.

People are now using online social sites to leave suicide notes!

Paul Zolezzi, an aspiring model, hanged himself in a Brooklyn park on Friday. According to authorities, the 30-year-old killed himself just hours after making an announcement on his Facebook page that he would be taking his life.

CRAZY!

Paul's body was found hanging from a monkey bar inside Mount Prospect Park along the Eastern Parkway at 7 A.M..

On Thursday night at 8:40pm, Zolezzi stated on his Facebook page that he had been "born in San Francisco, became a shooting star over everywhere, and ended his life in Brooklyn… And couldn't have asked for more."

Apparently, he had used his personal page to talk about his depression before, with frequent gloomy updates.

Sad.

Suicide should never be the answer, y'all.

He was crying out for help all along..
      Who was there?
      No one.
This could have been avoided if people
payed attention to the signs that were given.

Paul and I had breakfast Wednesday and I never guessed anything was wrong. He was always quite and this has shocked the whole neighborhood…Dude, this was dumb….

why would you give him the publicity? if he wants to take his life alone then let him be alone….

that is so tragic! :( something caught my eye in that news report perez posted: "He had to grow up without a father…That's what is probably behind his problem." I'm not surprised. Kids who do not have parents involved in their life not by choice (this doesn't apply where the parent(s) died–but those that left or are not involved in the kid's life) do have far more problems than kids who have involved and loving parents. i also wonder facebook might have contributed. like people didn't comment on those messages on his facebook? maybe they ignored him and he felt worse? facebook can be like high school. the popular people with 2000 friends and the unpopular kids with only 10. no one leaving comments or messages on one's wall, etc. i don't sign up with things like that. i just post anonymously to web-sites like this. :P
