Moguls vs. SAG: The Last Showdown?

Could we be seeing the end of the ages-long battle between the studio moguls and the Screen Actors Guild?

According to a new report, the group repping the big studios, the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, said it has made six concessions to "sweeten the final (contract) offer" made to the Screen Actors Guild.

Actors in Hollywood have been working without a contract since June of 2008.

The proposal came as the two sides ended three days of contract talks without a deal in place.

The AMPTP said SAG has 60 days to accept the new three-year contract.

If SAG doesn't take the offer after said 60 days, AMPTP proclaimed that they reserved the right to withdraw or amend the proposal.

There's been no comment from SAG.

The thespian union's leaders are expected to present the offer to its national governing board this weekend.

The union bustin' reality show promotin' mogul controlled AMPTP will soon regret their hubris. AFTRA morons have capitulated but SAG will kick the shit out of them in a strike. No Forced Commercials, No Weasling Out of Internet Residuals, better working conditions, DVD residuals etc..FUCK most of those NON-UNION reality shows! Don't rag on Union Actors- the entertainment industry will completely go down the tubes if the Moguls have their way. Just like the BANKING INDUSTRY.
