Octo-Grandpa Slams Octopussy on Oprah

Octo-Gramp's sit-down with Oprah Winfrey is set to air on Tuesday, February 24th, and boy does he slam his daughter, Octo-Mom!
When the Opes' asked Octo-Grandpa about the mom-of-14's mental soundness, he answered, "Now I'm no psychiatrist, but I question her mental situation."
Duh!!!!!
He added that his daughter and her fertility doctor were "absolutely irresponsible".
Understatement of the year!
Octo-Gramps went on to plead for assistance from the public, though - "I say to everybody now: People, we do need help. Do not punish my daughter for what she had done and and do not punish the babies, because they were given by God."
Interesting plea.

I agree don’t punish the children for their mothers actions, but I wouldn’t send her money so octo-mum can spend it on herself, I would send clothes, diapers and formula and support the kids.
I also think someone needs to control the money so Octo-Mom doesn’t just spend it on herself but it is used to take care of the kids.
He has a point. They do need help, but none of the should go to her. All shes going to do is buy million dollar houses and get more plastic surgery. They money should DEFINITLY be monitored.
First the doctor that did this should be in jail…or he should have to pay for them and not the TAX payers of the world. Ppl who go out and have one too many children that get on welfare and dont get off their lazy arz should be put in jail in my opinion I work to damn hard for my money and these free loaders p me off to no end! But at the end of their lives they do have to answer to the man above…Yes babies are a gift from GOD but when u go out purposly get pregnant knowing u can not afford them should be punished … and if you are that irresponsible u should be punished. I highly doubt she is going to get to keep those kids and if she does Social Services is going to be keeping a CLOSE eye on her.
It is so nice how she has been photographed out with friends, eating take out, getting a manicure and spending money at a store in the mall that sells expensive make up, it is said she bought $15 lip gloss instead of spending time with her babies in the hospital where she should be not to mention the money she is being given s for her BABIES not her for her to go get a freaking manicure and buy herself $15 lip gloss.
The right thing to do is to allow them each to be adopted by loving parents who can afford to give them good lives. It is selfish for people to have litters of kids when they can't afford to buy them even their basic needs.
I hope child services in that state is in the process of doing something drastic. They cannot allow those children to leave the hospital with no home to go to. I hope the state realizes their liability in this too!!!

Why social services are NOT doing anything in this situation??? Isn't it obvious that this woman has serious issues and this kids are in danger living in an unhealthy situation??? Damn it… they where soooo quick to put this woman under custody when she got death threats but what about the babies??? No one is doing anything about them!

I think that there should be a cap on the amount of welfare/food stamps one can receive, regardless of number of children. Perhaps this will be the wakeup call we need to get some of these laws changed (laws that are literally breaking the backs of the taxpayers and destroying this once great nation).
That's what I've been saying all the time! We can't punish the babies for her mother's insanity! We can't let them suffer just because their mother is gaga! The babies didn't ask to be brought into this world! They are innocent! The money should go to some kind of trust fund for the babies, so the crazy mom doesnt spend all the donations on plastic surgery!

I hope that all those children will grow up healthy and happy. I also hope that all the brothers and sisters will stay together, cause they might need eachother someday? Totally delusional. The babies weren't "given by God", they were a choice-2 times. She chose to have the IVF, then she chose not to pick the healthiest 1 or 2 embryos to bring to term. So, my stance is TIME FOR TOUGH CHOICES. Give everyone of those 8 babies up for adoption before that stupid bitch fucks them up!
Right, the babies do not need to be punished. Let them have homes where they will be given individual attention, not having to fight for it with 13 other kids.

I'm sure that there are more than a few couple's that would gladly give wonderful homes to these gifts from God. I seriously question the mental state of that woman. I also question the mental state of this woman to take care of these children.
As strange as this situation is, I really feel for the children. These poor children shouldn't be punished for their mother's more than questionable decisions. However, I think people should donate clothes, food, diapers, etc. Obviously their mother's decision-making skills aren't the greatest, so money's probably not the best thing to give her!
