My Chemical Romance Want Nothing To Do With New Moon!
After covering Bob Dylan's Desolation Row for the upcoming Watchman film, My Chemical Romance are thinking about scoring films on the side - but not the Twilight sequel!
"We're very choosy… There were a few films that we didn't do the song for because it didn't fit. I guess a lot of people would say that a vampire movie would fit, but I would disagree with that these days… I don't know if we'd be interested in that," explained MCR frontman Gerard Way when asked about scoring New Moon.

First of all, My Chemical Romance are not the steriotypical definition of emo
Their music is of course emo or emotional but what music isn't? If it wasn't then pretty much just a jingle selling bleach or pizza.
They did not sell out! I don't actually understand how people can say that they did.. especially when talking about The Black Parade.. Are they sellouts just because the cd sold in so many copies?
I know that their stuff is sold in Hot Topic and that Helena was featured on the House of Wax soundtrack, but that's not up to them.. they don't care about that? It's just the record company or the management trying to promote them.
This article is actually an example of how they're not sell outs. They are picky and they don't record songs just for the money.
