This is the best I have seen Meryl Streep look in ages. Very tasteful and elegant, a pleasant switch from the SAG Awards where she looked like an old maid frump. She isn't pretty to begin with, or charismatic or elegant, so she has to work harder to look better, especially to look like a movie star. It is her talent though that makes her shine and not her physical presence.
