Etta James Hates Beyonce But Hearts Adele!
2009 is shaping up to be an amazing year for British songstress Adele.
She picked up a Grammy a few weeks ago for Best New Artist and, come June, she'll be playing with one of her idols, Etta James, at the legendary Hollywood Bowl.
Adele just announced the news on her MySpace page, saying:
"I don't actually know if I'm allowed to tell you yet but I just read it somewhere else so… I've been booked to play the Hollywood Bowl in June for a while now. But Etta James just got confirmed to co-headline it with me! Etta James is my favourite singer ever! This is the most amazing thing ever for me!"
We're definitely going to be at the Bowl to see Adele and we hope her co-headliner has another Beyonce fit of rage.
Hopefully, Etta will tell us how she felt about Beyonce singing 'her' song at the Oscars!
