'Moving in With Boyfriend' is a Nicer Way of Saying Foreclosure

Former 80's pop tart Debbie Deborah Gibson isn't having money troubles, claims her mouth piece, even though a "Notice of Default" was filed on her Hollywood Hills home.

The flack says, "Much to the chagrin of media everywhere, Deborah is simply moving in with her boyfriend of the last year (doctor/documentarian Rutledge Taylor)."

Spin, spin, publicist!

The mouthpiece went on to say, "As we all know, [this] is the right time to sell…and, this was it for her."

Um, according to records, Deb's 1,700-square-foot home was purchased for $1.275 million in 2005, but is currently listed for $995,000.

A $280,000 LOSS doesn't make sense to us!

If Deborah's PR person wants us to believe she's NOT having money troubs, they need to go back to the drawing board and whip up different explanation!

Agencies need to train their publicists better. The publicist could have said almost anything EXCEPT.."as everbody knows, this is the right time to sell" This is actually the WORST time in the past 20 years to sell a house. That publicist's ignorence is offensively thick.

    Super lame, Mario!!!

it's a SHORT SALE (look it up) - if the bank takes the loss, as it seems, then it's all good for her - she can buy another house when prices hit rock bottom

    again??

Re: Spindoc – I think the dumbass was thinking of 'the right time to buy'. There's no way in hell i'd try to sell my house right now.

  11. 11

She ought to start hawking that "Electric Youth" perfume to the homeless for a few bucks.

the fact that the house is LISTED means it isn't a short sale, A short sale is when you beg the bank to take a loss because you are totally broke and can't make the payments and you have an offer on the house at an amount less than you owe on it (Look it up). It isn't "all good for her" because it means you are broke, if you had ANY moneyt he bank would go after you.

Perez— It seems you have no problem making fun of celebs losing their homes… Don't you realize "regular" people have much less money than some of these ppl losing their homes? Making fun of them is the same as making fun of some of your fans going through the same thing. I'm not, but I sure wouldn't make fun of another person who was losing something as important as their home. I guess if you lost your house it would be equally amusing, right?

  17. 17

perez you try people so much!

    and i love it

  18. 18

what doesn't make sense to me is why you have to post lousey things about someone who is not really in the news-just let it be, she knows that truth. She doesn't need you rubbing her face in it, but, you just love kicking anyone that is down.

  19. 19

Maybe it doesnt make sense to you because you have no brains! Of course it cost her 1.27 million in 2005 the market was at its peak then. In case you havent been paying attention we are in a serious real estate slump. Property values have taken a huge dive everywhere. Yes perez…in California too. She has it listed at a price that may make it sellable but may not. BTW a shortsale is not a foreclosure. It is the sale of a home at less than the amount owed. Most Americans would kill to at least get a shortsale vs having to let a home foreclose. Regardless…she isnt going to live there and if it sells great if it forecloses great….wtf is it to you? Is this news really? Look at the foreclosure rates in this country she is not the only person in this situation.

  20. 20

Perez, leave Deb alone!! You gross, greasy stereotypical fuck!! If Deb is having money troubles, who cares? Millions of Americans are as well. Debbie is a good sweet person (I've met Her) why would you care to report this?

  21. 21

"shes not the only one in this situation" But she had money more than some of us will make in a lifetime. Where did it all go? Towlie says dont forget to bring a towel, you never know when your gonna be homeless

  22. 22

Perez you really like to embarrass people don't ya? It makes your day to let everyone know that someone is losing there home. You better save up your money, or this can be you too…..Karma is a bitch and boy it's gonna catch up with you and i'm gonna blog about it when it does:)

    Re: Supergirl
I LOVED that perfume! My first make out bf just told me he still thinks about that smell & how much it turned on his little 12 year old lebido! 19 years later! (Maybe I should buy that bottle I found on ebay!)

Why does she have the money to pay a publicist but not a mortgage?

  25. 25

Bitch has no career, WTF does she need a publicist for?!?! I truly don't feel sorry for celebs who have an inflated opinion of themselves.

  26. 26

a $280.000 loss can become a write off when handled correctly. I had one big enough to not having to pay taxes for some years, Perez. It hursts to take the loss but it works. A good tax attorney is as essential as a good Dr., Stylist, and Dentist.
