Everyone is entitled to a slip-up once in a while.

The usually flawless Dita Von Teese stopped by Elton John's Oscar viewing party on Sunday in a not-so-flattering yellow satin creation.

The dress looks too heavy on her! And maybe that yellow's just not the best color on Miz Von Teese.

We do like that she tried to spice things up with color.

Pink and yellow are fun together!

      I like the style of the dress and the hair. Its very Liz Taylor, but the color may have been a little too garish with he skin tone. A buttery, pale yellow would have worked better.

      I usually do not appreciate Ms. Von Teese, but that is the most spectacular dress that I have ever seen. It belongs in a museum. Popping it with pink was brilliant. She went overboard, though, matching the nails.

      The dress would have been fine without the huge ugly bow on the side of it and her hair looks like an old lady up do. She can still do the classic look but in a more youthful way. I usually think she's pretty cool though.

      I think yellow goes great with dark hair (when I had black hair I bought a ridiculous amount of yellow), but it does tend to compliment tanned or darker skin more than a pale complexion. Still, when everyother day is an A+, she can afford to let her grades slip once in a while. I mean, it's a 50/50 chance you'll see Katie Priceless in either a velour tracksuit or just underwear, for chrissakes!
